In recent times we have all got used to French cops being a flawed profession with many flawed and damaged characters. At least that's what series makers would have us believe. So if you've been fed a diet of 'Spiral', 'Jo' and 'Crossing Borders' then 'Braquo' is going to hit you with a feast of out-of-control members of an undercover unit within the French Police that simply defy any attempt to categorize them as being like any you have seen before on screen. This is a show the grittiness of which you will want to see again and again, and fortunately this 3-series box set ticks all the right boxes. Intrigue, plots, action. betrayals and finger-pointing in the extreme proliferate throughout every episode. I had seen all 3 series already on Fox or catch-up so why would I buy this boxset? - Simple, there is so much within each episode that watching it again and again on DVD never fails to disappoint. Like a fine wine this is one series that matures with every viewing. BUY NOW, you will never regret doing so!
