a short lived great sci-fi show
4An amazing sci -fi show brought to you by Jim Henson studios, those guys who did the Muppets on Star Wars. Following the misadventures of a lost astronaut John Crichton, after becoming a member of a crew on board a living spaceship Moya with a crew consisting of escaped prisoners. Four amazing seasons follow where John and his friend run away from various alien and military treats, with the fate of existence in his hands, leading to everyone wanting John Crichton. The two part tv movie isn't great but it's the same thing as Firefly and Serenity, the show was canceled and this is a rushed job to provide an ending (it compresses ideas from what would of been the fifth season). The rest here is a description of the boxset, it contains five dvd boxes with multiple dvds in each box. Season one has twenty two episodes spread out on six discs, the lack of a play all function on any of the season one discs can be a small pain and that they are played in 4:3 aspect ratio meaning you have to stretch the image. Season two is much the same, same number of discs and episodes and still played in a 4:3 format but it does have a play all function. Season three is exactly the same as season three, twenty two episodes on six discs, played in a 4:3 aspect ratio with play all. Season four has the same six discs with the twenty two episodes, however it is played in a 16:9 widescreen which is great but why the other seasons aren't play or at least offer is a mystery. The boxset is worth it even with the odd function present in one season but not the other. Extra bits on the bonus features disc are great if your into that kind of thing and the Peacekeeper Wars finishes this off nicely even if it would of been nice to have a fifth season.

Great boxset for a great price
4If your viewing this item then you'll likely be a fan of the show. The boxset contains all the tv shows and the Peacekeeper Wars on DVD, with an extra box just for extras and outcuts. Great and I'm currently making my way through it with some of my friends, also it's £10 cheaper here than any other website, so get it now.
