The crew and passengers of the crashed spacecraft Spindrift return for the second and final instalment of Irwin Allen’s legendary sci-fi series, Land of the Giants.
Captain Steve Burton (Gary Conway) leads the team of survivors as they continue to fight for survival on the hostile giant planet where they are stranded. With the totalitarian government’s Special Investigations Department out to seize the ‘little people’ at every turn, the survivors have their work cut out for them as they attempt to avoid capture and return to Earth.
A world of science-fiction and adventure awaits you in the Land Of The Giants.

A real blast from the past. Recommended for fans of vintage sci - fi before long, complicated arcs and CGI. Good stuff.

This is the second and, sadly, final series of LOTG. As with the first series it concentrates on plot, rather than character development, with each episode having very little impact on the others. It can seem formulaic, but these stories were written for an audience in the 1960's. An added bonus is the very first episode is re-shown on the "extras" disc with cast commentaries. If, like me, you like to watch vintage sci-fi shows and films you won't be disappointed.
