Mindflesh

This may be one of the strangest films i have ever watched. The word that comes to mind to describe it is weird. Saying that i had to keep watching and it is well worth a watch. If you are in the mood for something different then this is the film for you.

Mindflesh

Super scary film from writer/director Robert Pratten. The film is about the obesession of taxi driver Chris Jackson who believes a goddess from a parallel dimension is walking the streets of London. This obsession is destroying the natural order of the universe and Guardian extraterrestrials threaten to kill Jackson's friends if he doesn't relinquish his fantasy. The film keeps you hooked throughout, with a bit of a dreamlike quality. Worth watching

Disturbing but a little slow paced

This film is quite different from your normal, traditional horror. It doesn't have you on the edge of your seat and doesn't have those minutes that stop your heart for a second! It is a fairly slow paced film that left me feeling slightly disturbed and uneasy! The story is based upon the book White Light by WIlliam Schelman, the story of a taxi driver who obsesses over a woman appearing to him in vissions. It was done on a low budget, but generally it has been well made. The scenes where Chris meets the object of his obsessions are creepy without being overstated. Overall it kept the tension going and I was very focused on the film. It is definitely worth a watch.
