Amazing.
5I wasn't the biggest fan of the orginal Planet of the Ape films, but this has completely turned it around, full of action and keeps you on edge wondering what would actually happen at the end.

5I wasn't sure about Rise of the Planet of the Apes but I loved it. Brilliantly made with great effects and a gripping storyline. The storyline was fast moving and it was surprisingly believable! Well worth it!

5This is without doubt one of the best of the sequel/prequels currently being shown. The story has amazing CGI and acting by those involved. Loved the ending and look forward to the next installment.

Going Ape For The Franchise
4If you're a fan of the Planet of the Apes franchise then you'll love this. Full of nods and winks to the first film it successfully avoids the pitfalls that the less-than-popular Tim Burton version fell into. A reboot that starts with a logical set-up, an emotional hook - thanks to the acting of Andy Serkis, and a gripping yet fulfilling last act which nicely shows the inevitable divide between man and ape and sets itself up for a possible and welcome sequel. For a pre-apocalyptic film, the warmth and understanding that developed between Ceaser and James Franco's character makes for a peculiarly upbeat viewing.
