Playstation 3 Slim 320GB Console
The internal design architecture of the PS3 Slim, from the main semiconductors and power supply unit to the cooling mechanism, has been completely redesigned, achieving a much slimmer and lighter body. Compared to the very first PS3 model with 60GB HDD, the internal volume as well as its thickness and weight are trimmed down to approximately two-thirds.
Furthermore, power consumption is also cut to two-thirds, helping to reduce fan noise. While inheriting the sleek curved body design of the original model, the form factor of the PS3 Slim features a new meticulous design with textured surface finish, giving an all-new impression and a casual look.
PS3 Slim continues to offer the cutting-edge features and functions of the original models, such as the ability to enjoy high-definition Blu-ray disc movies and games, as well as various content and services downloadable through the network. PS3 Slim's storage size has increased from 80GB to 320GB, and with the extra capacity users will be able to store more games, music, photos, videos as well as various content and services available through PlayStation Network.
Having more than 27 million registered accounts around the world, PlayStation Network offers more than 15,000 pieces of digital content, ranging from game titles, trailers, and demos to more than 15,000 movies and TV shows via PlayStation Store. PlayStation Network members can also download free applications, such as PlayStation Home, a ground-breaking 3D social gaming community available on PS3 that allows users to interact, communicate and share gaming experiences, as well as Life with PlayStation, which offers users various news and information on a TV monitor in the living room by connecting the PS3 to the network.
PlayStation Move
The PlayStation move takes motion-sensing gaming to the next level. True 1:1, sub-millimeter tracking puts gamers into the virtual world of the PS3 and allows them to interact with the environment as if the objects were in their own living room. The controller uses the PlayStation Eye Camera in conjunction with the light emitting "orb" atop the controller to calculate your position in three-dimensional space. As the orb can change colour, multiple controllers can be tracked simultaneously.
The orb can also be used to enhance in-game actions, for instance changing to red when using a "fire spell". The controller will feature traditional buttons, including a trigger, for those actions which motion-sensing will not capture, such as firing a gun. The possibilities for the motion controller range from simplifying the user-interface of a real-time strategy (selection and commands) to true sword fighting in your favourite role-playing game.

Well worth the 5 stars
This is a great product, I purchased it for my son as his birthday present and he was overjoyed to say the least. The graphics are amazing this is true HD Blu-ray quality and that's on the games as well as the films, game play is really smooth and there is plenty of room on the hard drive for extra downloadable content. You get pretty much everything you could want in this box, the console which looks quite sleek, as well as a wireless joy pad you also get the eye cam, move controller and the Nav controller, all at a really competitive price. Well worth the 5 stars

PS3 slim
I am extremely happy with this purchase. The console runs well and has more than enough hard drive space (320GB) to satisfy my requirements, especially when compared with my first PS3 (40GB). The Move component is better than the alternatives offered by the Wii and Kinect. When you add in the fantastic price and the excellent customer service, it truly is a package not to be missed and I will be shopping with Zavvi again in future.

Upgrade
I originally ordered the PS3 slim 360gb console on its. After several weeks of delay I started to check up on the stock of this item and it seemed that the 360gb model had been discontinued on it's own. I eventually received the nearest thing to my original order: a bundle including PlayStation move, eye toy, game and Blu-ray. This bundle obviously sells for a lot more than what I paid for the unit, so it was a very kind gesture that Zavvi did this for me. Thanks Zavvi.
