Might & Magic Heroes VI will take place in 564 YSD, roughly some 400 years before Might & Magic Heroes V, at the time of the second Blood Moon Eclipse, and the Rise of Kha Beleth, the Demon Sovereign.
A legendary Archangel General, killed during the war of the Elder races, is resurrected. Under the cover of preparations for the upcoming Demon invasion, he plots to recover his powers and take control of Ashan while eradicating his ancient enemies. He underestimates, however, the power of the all-too-human Griffin dynasty...
Heroes VI tells the story of the Griffin dynasty, when they were still Dukes of the Holy Empire, and not yet sitting on the Imperial throne (like in Heroes 5 and Clash of Heroes). The Griffin Duchy is east of the Empire, a region that would correspond to the Slavic nations in our own world.
At the dynasty’s origins, The Griffin Duke Pavel was a zealous servant of the Light and a trusted lieutenant of the Falcon Emperor. He met his demise defending his own duchy from a Demon host summoned by the dying wish of a desperate enemy. Pavel’s heroic last stand would ensure the survival of his son, Slava, who was only a boy at the time of these events.
Pavel’s sister Sveltana, who had left her homeland to become a prominent Necromancer in the Seven Cities, was called back to act as regent to Slava and educate him in the ways of the Griffin.
Fifteen years and a war have past. Duke Slava of Griffin is now the father of five promising children. These are the main Heroes of the Heroes 6 campaign, and they will lead different factions to battle.

Turn based legend for the 6th time
I started to play Might & Magic: Heroes VI as soon as I got it and I like it a lot so far. It's definitely a better game than Heroes V. Graphical design is awesome, music is great. Gameplay is ok but I don't like some changes. Converting castles and buying all available troops in one place makes the game a lot easier than before. No need to look after logistics anymore. I went through two campaigns so far on Normal and it was not really a challenge. It's nice here that I can develop my hero anyway I want, this is definitely one of the pros. It's hard to remember and learn all the available abilities but it comes with time. Plot is ok but it could be more mature? We have murder, conspiracy etc. but it still feels like a fairytale (just as Clash of Heroes) more than something more dark. Anyway - if you're a fan of the series you won't regret buying it. It's worth playing. I hope that there'll be some DLCs that will make gameplay and story even more exciting.

Might & Magic : Heroes VI (6)
With Might & Magic: Heroes VI, the developers have made some fundamental changes to the game play without sacrificing what made the series so popular before, and in fact, they've managed to improve on some of its shortcomings. I admit that I didn't have many expectations of this instalment after Heroes 4 and Heroes 5, which were very good games, but they didn't prove to be anything really ground-breaking for the series. The art style has been completely re-worked, and the "cute" characters and creatures are gone, so it's all feeling a bit more serious now. The story-line is decent, which is more than we can say for the previous Heroes games, and the maps are quite impressive. The new abilities and skills are interesting, helping create many combos to go with the old ones. All in all, I'm very happy with this game. I didn't expect it to be so good. I certainly didn't expect it to be equal, if not better than the legendary Heroes 3, and having a monthly patch release scheduled, means that all the bugs from early on will eventually disappear, which is good news. I'm having a blast with this game and it can only get better from now on. I highly recommend you buy it.

A great game
A really excellent game, a worthy sequel of the game title. Anyone with a history with the previous titles should play this game without a thought. Pros: Everything that you should except from a Heroes of Might and Magic game with a nice tutorial for new players. Cons: Like any turn based strategy game, it demands too much time to play online. Ofc there is nothing better that biting a friend of yours. A great game that you will play for many years to come.

Fantastic Turn Based R.P.G
This games was always my favorite. I was lucky to buy it last week on a fantastic price. Lucky cause the new Update was on so no bugs for me. Its the best turned based RPG someone can play. Fantastic graphics , Online multiplayer. Hot Seat multiplayer. Campaigns .. I mean EVERYTHING in one game. The graphics are fantastic the monsters and story and everything just transfers you to that age. With such a select of characters and missions this game can be really ENDLESS!!! Well done Ubisoft for creating a FANTASTIC GAME!
