Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi Collector's Edition (Exclusive)!!!
5I liked all the previous Dragonball series starting out with Budokai on the Playstation 2. The game series has come a long way and with the users now being unable to continuously spam ultimate moves, this is a really worthy game for any fan of the series or collector of beat-em-up simulators. The graphics on the Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi Collector's Edition are akin to the DBZ series but look a lot fresher. With the new ability to create your own character, the possibilities for this game are almost limitless. The tournament modes and story modes are also a must. All-in-all a brilliant game.

Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi Collector's Edition (Exclusive)
4I really like Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi, and it's a great bundle, but I would say that they have taken one step forward and two steps back, by which I mean that there's some great content present in this one, that there isn't in others. Character customisation and anime cut-scenes are to name a couple, but they seem to have removed the core game mechanic, which is the fighting. It's like pressing the button a couple of times and watching what happens, instead of requiring any skill.

5This game is a real credit to Dragon Ball Z and displays amazing similarities to the anime. Been waiting a long time for a Dragon Ball Z game like this. Easy controls, good story mode and clips in between sagas. Would highly recommend to all Dragon Ball Z fans and even non fans. Don't miss out on the excitement of fast paced, level destroying mayhem. Quality game!

A DBZ game at it's best
5It's amazing, the figure is well worth the extra money. Fans of the series may be unhappy with the lack of characters to play, but it is a good fighter. Sometimes repetitive and most time you rely on luck from the AI's point of view, but the graphics and beautiful cell-shading effects give the game it's brilliant anime tone, and brings the DBZ universe to life. May not be the best of beginners to the show, I recommend to watch first.

Fan Service
5This game is one huge fan service in my opinion. There are cut scene in the game from the anime and there is a fully fledged custom character mode called "Hero Mode" which is a welcome addition to the other game modes. The story mode follows the main DBZ stories and a few of the movies, the tournament makes a welcome return as well as various customisable moves for your characters. The music is pretty generic but with the inclusion of the original DragonBall Z theme Cha La Head Cha La really makes the game feel like you are watching the show when you was 10 years old. The figure that is included with the game is very well made and highly detailed with a remarkable paint job a must have for any figure collector or fan of the franchise.

rip off!!
3I bought this game for my Fiance for Christmas he seems pleased with it but have to say I was a bit miffed to find that a few days after I purchased it Zavvi reduced the price by £15 so ovviuosly its going to be worth the money now haha :)

Awesome but flawed
4The game introduces a fairly new battle system inspired from burst limit and other games. The cool thing is no one can spam ultimate projectiles anymore, and the fights have epic potential; close combat fights occur until super moves are made. The combination of manga-like graphics and fighting is great.

Dragonballs New installment is a real fan must
4Hi, Dragonball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi is a good game. Presentaion: The game looks good and shine. In turns of graphics this is the best of the series. the main menu is easy to scroll through and the addition to fly through the dragonball earth world is cool but limited. The arenas are all there and all the main fighters (around 70 with transformations) exist from the Z series with extra some characters from the GT and Movies. The story mode is nice due to the added redrawn remastered anime that is shown sometimes but the most bad thing ; about it is the really big scrolling story that you have the option to read to see what is going on, For Dragonball fans this is not an issue because they now the story but for non dragonball fans this is a real let down because they will get more and more confused. The most fun is the group battle and the tournament which is nice and fun to play with some friends. Gameplay: Its ok but not deep enough for a fighting game. You have the option to fight in close range and in far range. When far you can shoot waves and special attacks that are huge and cool. If you want to change the distance with the player it is done with just one button. In close range you have the option to do hard attacks and to hit your opponent 4 times . after that a combo sequence happend that you can complete with a 50-50 chance. The combos are great but tooo repetative. There is not much to do it terms of trying something different.You do all the moves in the same way for all Charachters. there is that classic fighting style missing from the game. They could of did something dfferent here. Overall: For a fan of Dragonball that i am it is a must because of the remastered hd and redrawn anime in the game and if you get the special edition you will have a good figure on your selection. The gameplay could of been kept in the classic fighting style and added also the new staff. This for me is one of the great problems with this game. The plus is if you get with your friends and will like to play for fun then this game will not disappoint. Thank you.
