Great open world RPG that puts others in the genre to shame. At this price, you simply can't go wrong with Dragon's Dogma!

It's very good game, I loved it from the first minute. Big monsters, goblins, orcs, harpies, even zombies, and much more. Big map opened to you from start, but you wont go there like I did, I found dragon which killed me in 1 shot. Very good voice act and interesting job class system. You wont get bored in this game. Buy it.

I expected an open world Demon's Souls type of game and that's sort of what I got...

To be honest, I haven't played through Dragon's Dogma yet. I have no idea if Im even remotely close to the end of it. It's kind of impossible to know since it's such a large scale RPG. I had read a lot about Dragon's Dogma before I bought it. It was said to be the ultimate mix of western and eastern role-playing game culture. It was also said to have amazing animations, remarkable boss fights and great variety of game play between the different classes. The game was said to be a mix of great title such as Shadow of the Colossus and Demon's Souls. I would say that all of the above isnt true. As always when a game is hyped it's exaggerated, but there is some truth to the boosting. What I like most with Dragon's Dogma is the fighting scenes, they are so varied and exciting and all of the monsters presents its own unique type of challenge. From small meddlesome goblins in great numbers to big stumbling cyklops's. What I dislike most about the game so far is the intro music. I hate it so much! It starts of really good and then sinks deep, deep down when the vocalist starts to sing. I also don't like that there is no fast travel function. You have to run whenever you are going somewhere and there are a huge amount of backtracking. Which means you have to run through the same landscape several times. Dragon's dogma is a great game for any hard core role-playing fan, nothing for the casual gamer.

I think that Dragon's Dogma is the best "Open-World RPG" available on all consoles, given its graphics, story and spell effects. However, it's quite boring going up and down in the same areas, because there aren't many and they're not quickly explored. A wrong move in a new area means death, so saving is the most important thing to do in the game (auto save will not be sufficient, remember that). Overall, a good game, best if played with 3 friends.

I've heard the Elder Scrolls meets 'Souls' series comparison, and it seems pretty apt. There's hordes of unpleasant things to put down with bow, spell or sharp implement, and colossal creatures to clamber on and bring down. It's not as immersive as Elder Scrolls, but I found it to be a lot more pleasant to explore. Plot is okay; it's not particularly well told, but has a sufficient few interesting elements not to make it a complete waste. Combat is fun and hard to get tired of. The game's character creation and customisation and its scope are probably its strongest suits, especially given the create-your-own--follower 'pawn' system that lets you hire other players' followers, too. Other elements (like the somewhat clunky menus) are the new IP's rough edges. Definite buy in my book, though, as it's one of the more unique experiences I've had in my gaming life so far.

Well this grabbed my attention as soon as I saw no numbers in the title! In a market full of re-hashed ideas and unnecessary sequels It's great to see that CAPCOM has decided to do something that isn't Monster Hunter or Resident Evil (which I'm a huge fan of). I love this game, it's pretty much everything that I've ever wanted in a JRPG: a great, satisfying combat system with a huge range of options for tackling the various mythical creatures encountered; a massive, memorable and immersive open world which is yours to explore from the offset (although you won't last long in the farthest reaches of the map until you've leveled up quite a bit); rich, believable environments bursting with secrets and items all ripe for gathering; a unique day/night system which really shakes things up and adds a certain "urgency" not to be caught out in the dark alone (trust me, there are "things" out there *shudder*) which can really spice up quests; a HUGE, deep, yet simplistic skill system; and nice weapons/armour. So yea, one of the BEST games that I have ever payed money for. Buy it! Oh, and the Resident Evil 6 demo is a sweet bonus.

Dragon's Dogma is a good game with epic fluent battles. The battle system is awesome and its online character's recruitment is really interesting, however, the plot is feeble. I would recommend to those Shadow of Colossus fans.
