Good Job

Enslaved: Odyssey to the West is a game, which everybody who likes dramatic, "full of emotions" productions should play. It takes you into an epic journey with a lot of beautiful landscapes and a lot of fun. The story is really interesting and it doesn't end after a few hours. After finishing the game there is still something to do (trophies). All in all, Enslaved is worth playing game, which provides one of the best story in last year.

Very underrated game

Sadly this game did not sell very well so the chances for a sequel is up in the air but it is a very solid product and provides hours of enjoyment. Good storyline as well though some hiccups in gameplay.

Awesome

Fantastic story, nice gameplay, what more can you ask for? Although the game can be completed within 10 hours, it is well worth the money. Try and you will not regret.

Great cast of characters in a lush post apocalyptic world

Awesome game at a great price You star as Monkey who has been Enslaved by Trip who requires Monkey's help to return home while avoiding enslavement by the robots who have enslaved most of humanity. The story revolves around these two characters who have been amazingly animated with amazing voice acting with Monkey himself been motion captured and voice acted by the amazingly talented Andy Serkis. Gameplay is very Prince of Persia, you control Monkey as you guide him along platforms across a post apocalyptic world while also combating robots using your trusty baton with Monkey's super human like strength and agility. Now onto the bad points I'm afraid, while the story has been done amazing well and has no fault in my opinion, the same can't be said for the gameplay, the platforming is really shallow with everything that Monkey can crap onto being highlighted with no real thinking involved so you can't possible get lost during the entire game. The combat is half fighting with the robots and bosses and the other half is with the camera, sometimes the camera can get stuck behind the wall and the combat is very button mashing with not much skill required apart from the odd head shot from your baton. You can finish this game in 10 hours with replay value coming from collectables and different difficulty settings. Overall your enjoyment out of it will depend on it's story, if you can put up with it's shallow gameplay and take it for an amazing story with an excellent cast of characters in an amazing crafted post apocalyptic world then by all means buy it at this great price while it last. If you're only interested in its gameplay or you find 10 hours to be to short then maybe a rental would be better for you, for me personally the story more than compensates for its shallow gameplay and definitely worth a purchase for under £20

Enslaved

Enslaved is a title that I waited anxiously, the first gameplay video I realized that it could be a potential masterpiece, especially considering the developers (Ninja Theory), the same as Havenly Swords. Now that is gone, I've finished I can say with certainty that Enslaved is not a masterpiece as I thought because of some flaws, but a great adventure, fun, straightforward, simple and intriguing

History of Slavery

5

First impression of this is not good because of old type Unreal Engine, you feel like you are playing a 2 year old game. Characters looking so easily rendered but when you begin playing like Assassin Creed, Prince of Persia jump and climb type action, it covers you with immense atmosphere. Chacter renders are becoming insignificant with all the atmosphere. Generally amusing, princy and fantastic story in humanless mechanical world.

Especially escaping sense is pressuring over you with your mistress. Safe her to be alive. Generally, amusing, princy and fantastic story in humanless mechanical world.

I'm caught

I admit at first i was a bit dubious as it was using the unreal engine to make this game which has been used in other games such as 'Batman: Arkham Asylum" and Gears of War series I believe? So it had a lot of competition in the competitors using its gaming engine to compete against. I tried the XBOX 360 demo but will be buying the PS3 version and I have to admit I was stunned at the graphics, controls and easy movability of the character - hooked me even for a demo!! The enemies were basic for the tutorial of getting used to the controls but saying that they were fun to destroy and the usage of the buttons were easy after a few seconds. The run controls like jumping place to place were also quite easy. It shows you in flashy texture that you can jump to it but the movements between are fluid and if pressed at the right time can be continous and good to watch. It was a shame that the demo was so short to play but it has given me enough for a taster to actually want to go out and buy this game!
