Metal gear rising review
4I have been eagerly awaiting this game since completing MGS4. When I recieved the game from Zavvi I was extremely excited, £100 for a limited edition version with a rare figure, which shall never be opened! Unlike other games in the series I was excited to play it but easily found myself getting bored, something which has never happened to me before in a MGS game. The first few chapters were good and the VR missions was a nice retro feel. When I reached the second boss (the detachable guy) I felt disappointed, like the game had lost its spark, it was way too over the top. Sam's battle was extremely difficult. The games parry system is rediculous. The odds of you getting a parry are 0.1% and if you don't spam moves by jumpin around you ant kill him. Far from what I ever wanted to see in a MGS game. I was shocked to fid very little relevance to Snake and no mention of Merel or the rat pack? Did they just cease to exist in the MGS world? Overall the game was okay, but unlike the others in the franchise, I will not be playing this again (except for the DLC missions).

Amazing Game - Amazing Ltd Edition
5I had been waiting on this Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Limited Edition game since the announcement. I love the demo and the final game does not disappoint Together with the fantastic PlayArts figure and the great packaging - one of the best Limited Editions I own!

5For any die hard metal gear fan this is the game for you with a mixed blend of old school metal gear type bosses and fast paced hack n' slash this title truly deserves the metal gear name it has.

If you love Play Arts Kai then you'll love this
5Brilliant game - I wasn't holding my breath all those years ago when Kojima Productions announced they were planning on messing with the format but in Platinum Games, the game has flourished with style, yet substance really adding something different to the franchise. There have been a lot of complaints about the price of this Limited Edition but if you factor in the Play Arts Kai figure generally sell for around £65 then it's a great deal. The only thing really missing would have been a nice steelbook to accompany the set. All in all terrific stuff!

Great LE
5I knew this Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance: Limited Edition would be good because Play Arts make the best figures. Raiden is no exception. He is by far one of the nicest collectable I have owned. At first I was a little disappointed as it feels a little expensive. However I researched around to discover the figure sells separately for a close price and that's the standard one not the white one you get in the Limited edition! Highly Recommended for collectors and MGS fans.

Fantastic
5I was a bit skeptical about Metal Gear Rising but this game has blown me away! I have already played it 4 times and hoping to complete it on Reveangeance mode. The collectors edition also comes at a bargain price as well.

An all round awesome package.
5Well let's start straight off with the packaging, the box this limited edition comes with will please any Metal Gear fan out there. The included Play Arts Kai figure is amazing as always with the artists of Play Arts Kai. Those people know what attention to detail is all about. Onto the game.. It is very good. Very polished and more than enjoyable to play with many scenes making you feel like an absolute bad ass. The bosses are good, later ones becoming hard as nails in places, utterly forcing you to learn how to parry properly to avoid getting your ass kicked. Couple of familiar faces through out but all in all, feels a bit distant from the rest of the Metal Gear world. I give it all in all 5 out of 5. Game itself 4 out of 5 bumped up to an over all 5 out of 5 due to the awesome extra in the Limited Edition.

5Brilliant game, never thought I would like a non sneaking Metal gear solid title, but really enjoyed this title. Five stars!

5Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Limited Edition not only did it come a day early than the release date, but it came in great packaging and was able to track it every step of the way. Great service. Metal Gear Rising speaks for itself and has great replay value and the play arts Kai figure is top tier.

Metal gear has risen!
4Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - Limited Edition has risen is a very good way. This game has taken a few elements from the solid games and made it into its own manifestation and wow does it work. Non stop action and music that is out of this world good! Gameplay is fast paced and the controls are great, although the camera could have been a little better, but it doesn't harm the great experience of playing this game. Story takes place 4 years after guns of the patriots and is well written. You feel connected to other characters as well as Raiden. Especially Sam who I think has become quite popular. Great cut scenes throughout the game and even the famous cardboard box makes an appearance! Whether you're a metal gear fan or not, I highly suggest picking this up. You won't be disappointed! 8/10
