Alice Madness Returns is a nice Action - Adventure with a lot of Jump n run influence. The Design of the Game takes some getting used to. The Story is not the best, but also its not a crap Game. The Gameplay is a little repetative. If you like Adventures or Alice you can give it a chance...

I think that the experience of playing Alice is between a game and read a illustrated book. The gameplay is simple but the level design and story are outrageous. Good game with lot of stuff to unblock. Buy it!

There are very small the games that have caused an impact similar which it provoked American McGee's Alice in the year 2000, when EA threw it for PC. The nice and direct exposition of being a recreation of Lewis Carroll's beautiful infantile story ended up by getting lost in a Gothic universe, of nightmares and moments bloody that little or nothing had to see with the events narrated in " Alice in Wonderland's adventures " and in " Across The mirror and that Alicia found there ", fundamentally because it was placing several years after the above mentioned events. Upset Alice, who loses the contact with the reality and meets caught in a chaotic, dark and disconcerting recreation of the Wonderland generated, as they us count, for his own tormented mind. The action places ten years after the first game. Alice overcame the trauma of the fire in house of his parents nevertheless, this has not been like that, and our protagonist continues suffering severe nightmares with this fantastic world. Oppressed, stressed and frightened, Alice returns to the Wonderland to feel to except; but such a precarious situation of his mind, even worse than the first time, provokes that the zone is an authentic chaos in the one that will have to save the inhabitants of the fantastic world while it fights to manage to solve the mystery of the death of his parents. - Excellent artistic paragraph, with fantastic designs. - Great system of control, easy to dominate. - Very much sense of the black humor.

Ignore the reviews given by some media giants, Alice: Madness Returns is an amazing game! I have had no problems with the game, it is creepy, weird, and great at the same time!

A Great Sequel

This game really has it all, you play through a wide contrast of levels with very different settings and scenery. The story is as gripping as it always was and the weapons, along with how to use them, isn't overly complicated, but there is a huge range at the same time. There aren't too many fights in comparison to working out puzzles and exploration, it has a good amount of all three. It undoubtedly has beautiful artwork. I was a bit hesitant to get this game, I am a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland but was thinking it may be too gory as the trailer suggests and the official site images, but it turns out to be ideal for those just wanting to have an adventure through wonderland. I would compare this game to PS3's Kingdom Hearts mixed with PS1's Oddworld Abe's Exoddus.
