fable meets fallout in middle earth
4Unlike previous Lotr games this is more like fable with characters and large map with fights along the way. Plenty quests including side quests and equipment upgrades. Down side is the misspelled names and the non original voices. As a hardened Lotr fan this was a let down for that but the game as a whole itself is great. Lots of hours gameplay for all ages and types of gamers. If you like mass map adventure or battles or collecting or mini games this is great for you.

Lord of the Rings War in the North
5Great fun, two player game. Characters are very different which allow players to work together but feel individual. Great game for those who wouldn't normally play two player.

Epic
5One of the best LOTR games (I haven't played the MMORPG) based in Jackson's films that I have ever played. It takes the best of the three film based action games and adds RPG elements such as magic gear or skill trees. Awesome graphics. You will also recognize the characters as they look like the films actors. Just enjoy it!

Great Coop Experience
5I've played the co-op with two other players. Excellent hack and slash adventure with loads of leveling, loot and teamwork. Probably not so good as a solo game but overall excellent!

Lord of the Rings: War in the North
5I bought Lord of the Rings: War in the North with my friend and sister hoping it would just be a good 3 player co-op, Its more than that, we can't get off the game. We hadn't heard any reviews or any news at all on this game and just thought lets try you never know and for 15 quid its more than worth its money. If anyone is thinking of getting an online co-op game this is a major one to consider!

4If your a fan of Lord of the Rings, then it's a must buy, and at this price any gamer should give it a try, especially the RPG fans. Lord of the Rings: War in the North is a simple game and nothing like skyrim, but none-the-less, a well rounded fun game.

Amazing Game
5Loved Lord of the Rings, and loved war in the north just as much. If you have any friends who are Lord of the Rings geeks, then this game is a must buy, otherwise its still fun, particularly if you enjoyed the films. Storyline is based on the some of the appendices and side stories that appear in some of Tolkien's more obscure middle earth based stories, like the Silmarillion. Good game play and always fun to relive the Lord of the Ring stories.
