FFXIV: A Realm Reborn (PS3)
5Great game. Final Fantasy AND mmo... It is the only mmo that has managed to keep me interrested for more than 20 levels. The story unravels as you go along and it gets more and more interresting as you progress through the game's main storyline. The combat is great, interfaces and gameplay is smart and although many of the smaller side quests don't really grab my attention, completing them is not a must as there are plenty of other ways to gain experience and build your character. The game in general feels very well thought out and, whether your taste is RPG or mmorpg, it think anyone who invests in a copy will enjoy this game. Another great thing is that PS3 players and PC players play together, and you can actually get both versions and play them interchangeably if you wish. This also gives you 30 days free game time for both registrations. I liked the game so much that I got it mainly for my PS3, played it for free for 30 days and then bouht it again on PC, as it was so cheap! Game time, and the 30 days of free game time, is also useable on both PC and PS3 versions, so I mainly play on the PS3 as I feel this is more relaxing, but whenever I feel like it I boot up my gaming PC, connect my PS3 controller and play it there. (You have access to all of your characters on both platforms, of course, so no worries there!) Square Enix really came through and "righted their wrongs" this time! This is well worth every penny and more.

Good mmorpg game
3Only played few hours but the game seems promising! If you like mmorpg and you are a fan of the FF saga, you have to give it a try for sure!

A realm to enjoy
5Once you step into this world, you'll be amazed. There is so much to do, there are some many things that you can be. And most important - it's interesting and exciting. I've played WOW for a half an hour, got bored and never played again. I've played SWTOR for a few days, got bored, never played again. I've played FF XIV ARR for a few hours and couldn't disconnect :) I still play it whenever I get some spare time. It's worth to mention that it works very good on PS3 and the gamepad controls are really well done. Altogether - good job, Squere Enix!

MUCH better than attempt 1!
5Final Fantasy XIV is the re-release of FFXIV, after "version 1.0", which was frankly dreadful. I have been pleasantly surprised. They've fixed 99% of the issues and added a lot of extra stuff. For an MMO it has a pretty decent story which keeps you updated regularly, and the writing in general is very good/witty (and on occasions crude!) If you were put off by the first iteration of the game (particularly the beta) I'd recommend giving this a go. Although if you've a decent PC, I'd get it for PC rather than PS3, as you've a lot more flexibility with using kb+m or controller, rather than just the controller for the PS3.
