Next Step to Simulation

I think that NHL 13 is closer to real hockey than the previous games. True performance skating and the improved physics engine forces you to think ahead more than before. It's clearly a step further as a simulation. Previous issues feel more arcade in comparison in my opinion. Also the AI is improved especially in its defensive behaviour. You score best if you adapt real world strategies and cannot try one man shows all the time. Overall, great game.

The graphics are astounding, the gameplay is brilliant, gets you involved in all areas of the game. Menu layout and new features like shootout mode and ultimate team is immense! Just an all round outstanding game, well done EA.

Plays so smooth, easy to pick up, hard to master. The more you put in, the more you get out!
