nothing special

First of all ive only played a few hours, so this is initial impression, take it with a pinch of salt. Eh, what can I say? Its a cheap DMC hack and slash but arena based, the single player is over the top typical anime style down to the cutscenes with pretty standard button mashing. The multiplayer looks like it could be fun but haven't tried it with other players yet (just setup a private match with bots to give it a go) and it looks interesting, wildcards popping up, random soundtrack and funky arenas, however I have a sneaking suspicion the servers are going to be ghost towns... Pros: Has bayonetta as a multiplayer character with the code I got with the game HAs the voice of the main guy from bulletstorm Cons: Pretty standard hack and slash fair that looks like it'll get repetitive very quickly. Far better hack and slash games like bayonetta, DMC series (old and new), metal gear revengeance and dantes inferno.

Fun Action Game

Anarchy Reigns is a really fun brawler. It's nothing ground breaking but it's well worth the cost.

Reigns above all else

I originally got Anarchy Reigns for the multi-playern mode but with no split screen or local co-op I was a bit let down, until I started the main story which was brilliant. Lots of cool missions, excellent pick-ups, freaky enemies, insane events and diverse characters (with half of them being playable through the main story and the rest appearing throughout). This is a great game and with Bayonetta in it, it only gets better.

Anarchy Reigns (Limited Edition) isn't as good as previous titles. Yes, you can play characters from Mad World and Bayonetta if you've got the DLC. Bayonetta is very fun and powerful to play. It's really fun to use objects, characters and weapons to smash foes in a post-apocalyptic world. But this game has got more bad than good things. It quickly gets boring. You travel a close and small level map, and you've to reach 3 main check point per level that you unlock by earning points. Your character's combos are very limited and very useless against the 4 types of foes. The lock system is hazardous and dodging is very frustrating.

Anarchy Reigns (Limited Edition)

Anarchy Reigns (Limited Edition) is a great action game, with plenty of crazy fights. Online multi-player mode is fairly quiet, but fun when you get it going. The game has plenty going for it.

Lots of modes and options in multi player. A wide range of characters, music on the move, and a host of random events to keep to hooked.

another gem from platinum games.

This game is great, it reminds me of God Hand crossed with smash bros, although I've had my backside handed to me on a plate many times its still a fun game. hard but always feeling fare. probably one of the best beat em ups in years and a must for fans of platinum games/clover studios work and anyone who loves a game that doesn't take itself too seriously.

Anarchy Reigns Ltd. Edition

4

Anarchy Reigns is worth four stars of rating. If you like to rumble with mutated characters and over the top heroes, single or multiplayer gameplay on a scorched earth type settings, then this is for you. If not it's worth a try, the game is non-stop action from start to finish. It features earth shattering action and an intense firecracker type effect on the screen. It's fast and doesn't lag, in general I would describe this as an over the top anarchic riot hence the title. It's single or multiplayer, the bosses are massive and great to beat, totally anarchic. There are a lot of heroes to be revealed throughout the campaign. The multiplayer gameplay is one of its good points and there is a lot of it to choose from, one-on-one, multi characters, rugby type rumble etc. There is a lot more to describe but it will spoil the game for you. Overall this is a very good game and is in its own genre. It only falls one star for its graphics rendering and bad soundtrack, which is not the usual for Platinum release but the on-screen action and sound effects are very good.

Anarchy Reigns Limited Edition

5

Anarchy Reigns has it all, with huge arenas to explore that are full of enemies to practice your moves on. There's even objects to pickup and use as weapons or throw at enemies. New missions are unlocked frequently and provide variety and more chance for epic brawls. The multiplayer is very refreshing and simple controls allow you to pull off impressive combos for those who spend the time mastering them. The graphics show detailed environments and a variety of enemies and bosses. In summary this is a fun game with lots of missions and memorable multiplayer brawls.
