2001 A Space Odyssey: Special Edition
5This is a really top class package! Obviously one of the all time classic movies but firstly the packaging is really top notch with a beautifully designed steelbook! All this is added to with a really phenomenal 4k transfer! The movie has never looked and sounded so good! If you're serious about collecting quality 4k discs this is an absolute must have!

Best new brand of Steelbook
5These Titans of Cult steelbook-included box sets are gorgeous. Only negative is the outside casing. It’s fragile plastic.

Premium Product
5Once again another premium product from the titans of cult series. Only thing that let it down was the poor packaging from zavvi but other retailers are available for these steelbooks

Great Product, shame about the packaging
4Item arrived on time & in perfect condition. My issue is with the packaging Titans of Cult decided to go with for this edition of 2001. For some reason, the exterior sleeve is made of flimsy, sharp plastic & must be awkwardly opened in order to get to the steelbook inside. There's also a long line of glue visible along the spine, leading me to believe that this sleeve was intended to be thrown away - but thats the greatest appeal of the edition in my opinion! I love how the translucent cover mimics the effect of looking into HALs eye. Shame about their choice of material - I can't see myself opening this pack too often, I'd be afraid of tearing the cheap plastic. A hardcover slipcase would have worked much better.

Masterpiece in 4K
5Finally one of my all time favourite films in 4K I’m not really a steelbook collector I prefer limited deluxe editions I have it on dvd but just had to have the 4K upgrade

Decent.
4TOC have found a decent recipe for these. The steels with these still need to be quality, as does the design. The little add on's like the badge and pin are a nice touch. I think unless the quality of these is spot on, the plastic cases and some of the matt steels released will start to make buyers more fussy. I'd like to see TOC devloping these designs, especially the plastic cases. However this release is one of the better ones, nicely finished gloss steel. Fun box with the steel picture visible through, good film and nice extra's. A good purchase and decent edition. steel.book

5This is a classic film. Even better in 4k, and the bonus of the steel book with the pin and a sewn on badge. Great design and a well worth purchase
