Transformers the movie set
4The movie is amazing even after all these years, and the extra contact is cool. I really like all the extra stuff in the set especially the mini posters. The only thing I was a bit disappointed is that it is not a steal case

The best Transformers movie
5The Classic 1986 Transformers Animated Movie returns in this neat little collection. Well worth the price if you are a fan of this movie, and wanted a nice little collection to own.

This set really has the touch
5An absolutely fantastic limited edition, everything Matt Ferguson wanted for the limited edition is there, reversible cover based on the VHS release art cards etc. The poster sadly came with a slight indent on mine and the back of the artbook on the spine is missing some of the black printing it should realistically have... So rougher than it should be (and also has a quotation error for the unicron page... Proof reading is meant to be a thing but I'll forgive it this time as made me chuckle). The film colouration and sound quality are fantastic for a 4k restoration from the original elements (which could of been done for the 30th anniversary to be fair as they did use a 4k transfer based on the original elements there and only ported it to standard blu-ray... Yes I'm gonna be blunt about it as its hasbro, but doesn't take away from the rating I'm giving it) and in 5.1 DTS-HD master audio it sounds stunning, the only scene with any issues is the Daniel and Hot Rod fishing scene when not close up, but from what I understand that was an animation error from the original production of the film and cant be fixed (instead of the water being blurry everything else was) but wasn't noticeable till put in HD (and I didn't even notice it till watching it in 4k) but everything else was fantastic. This is a restoration done with love and care for such a big milestone and for such a controversial film when originally released, traumatising children going to the cinema and walking out crying without seeing the entire film (though the trope it brought in has become commonplace since....) I wholeheartedly recommend this film is picked up and if any more of these are produced this edition I would seriously recommend getting it is by far worth it.
