Childhood classic now in 4K

One of Pixar’s best
5One of their best and I think my favourite. First half is a masterclass of film making, the imagery, music, humour and limited dialogue is fantastic and fascinating. Second half is slightly marred by the humans but no film is perfect! Wonderful stuff.

4For the first half of the film it’s amazing and could be the best film ever made but once they go into space it looses the magic the first half had.

The best this movie has ever looked, or sounded
5Wall-E has been one of my favourite Pixar movies every since it came out, and the 4K UHD Zavvi exclusive was a must-buy when I saw it was available in this awesome format. The Atmos soundtrack punctuates the action perfectly, and whilst the visual acuity isn't THAT different from the original 1080p blu ray, it's drastically improved by the presence of Wide Color Gamut, which gives all of the extreme hues and colours, especially on The Axiom, some of the best "pop" I've seen. There are far more technical reviews out there, including one which reports the Atmos track to be less impactful than the DTS-HD Master track. I personally didn't experience that - to my ear I got the same room-rattling thunderous roar of rocket engines from both, just with more positioning on the height speakers. In short, visually and sonically, the movie is a delight, and I'm VERY pleased with my purchase from Zavvi.

Best Pixar Movie
5This movie has it all, emotional, heart and villan. The 4k blue ray pic quality is the best i’ve seen to date and the dolby atmos for audio sucks you into the universe. Buy it

Wall-E 4K Ultra HD
5A great 4K release of a Disney favourite of mine, picture quality looks amazingly vibrant with great improved audio - felt like I was seeing the film anew. The story line is told delightfully, with clever visual effects, character nuances and an engrossing unfolding of the story line - complete with a happy ending. Frankly I'm surprised this film is not up there in the ratings along with better known Disney classics. Great extras and bonus features too in this release.
