Born in 1963, Quentin Tarantino is a world-renowned American filmmaker who is known for his unique style, which features extensive use of gratuitous violence and drawn-out character monologues. His career began with the release of Reservoir Dogs (1992), an independent crime film that focuses on a group of diamond thieves: Mr. White/Larry (Harvey Keitel), Mr. Orange/Freddy (Tim Roth), Nice Guy Eddie (Chris Penn), Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi), Joe Cabot (Lawrence Tierney), Mr. Blonde/Toothpick Vic (Michael Madsen), Mr. Brown (Tarantino), and Mr. Blue (Edward Bunker). Told in non-chronological order, the plot sees the ensemble caught in the trappings of a failed heist.
