Good enough

I'm a great comic book fan. I love Marvel and DC characters. The first Avengers movie was fantastic but this one has not the "Wow!" factor for me. I don't know the reasons why, but somehow I didn' t feel that I was amazed. By the way this is a very good superhero movie with great moments. The picture and sound quality is amazing of course. The extras are okay too. Worth to watch it.

What's not to love

What is not to love about age of ultron? The film is amazing and the action and comedy timing is just perfect! Really enjoyed it in the cinema and I enjoyed it the 2nd time round! Can't wait to see how it goes in the future

A rousing and spectacular blockbuster

Although it doesn't reach the same punch-the-air heights as the first Avengers film, this sequel still does everything it needs to do in order to develop the characters and set things up for the next phase of the MCU. The best bits still come from the banter between the team and there are plenty of laugh-out-loud moments as in all MCU films. Some have commented on how the scene in the cave seems a bit random and obviously setting up for Thor: Ragnorok, which is true but it's a small price to pay and there is still valuable character time elsewhere. Watching the deleted scenes on this Blu-Ray was interesting, as an extra scene with the Twins I feel should have been left in, as it gives them more character time and explains why they find Ultron the way they do. The extended cave sequence, however, is even more random than the theatrical version so it was wisely cut. A useful featurette on the disc explains the Infinity Six, showing the connections across Phase Two Marvel films and how this will come to a head with Infinity War. The film itself still packs a hefty Hulk-sized punch and Joss Whedon, despite his misgivings about working with Marvel on this film, still delivers the goods. The best example of this is we don't get just one Avengers continuous shot, WE GET TWO!
