This is a fantastic steel book and I am happy I own one and that too for 5.99. A great movie and the steel book itself has a limited number tag with it. This surely has a very different art work and reminds the viewer of the beaches of Brazil. Great product for a very good price. This is currently sold out.

City of God

Everyone who would be buying this movie ewadt knows how the movie is. The P and Q for a movie of this production stature is failrly decent. The 5.1 Dts HD master audio is evolving from the start of the movie and keeps the viewer engaged. There is a slight edge enhancement but the grain structure and details are preserved. Just do not expect a audio/video mix of a recent blockbuster. The steelbook itself is worth the money with a nice golden gloss to it. Comes Highly recommended.

City Of God

One of my favourite foeign movies of all time. Realistic protrayal of how tough life can be in Brazil. The steelbook really does the movie justice. The title and the people you see on the front are embossed. Surrounded by a debossed border. The steelbook is also on sale. Grab it before the price rises or before it sells out.

not a movie for everyone, yet, those who decide to take it on will not be disappointed. certainly disturbing at times, but a worthwhile ride. as for the steelbook, again, i have zero complaints. it is well done with great artwork selections. 5 stars here as well!

great film but how strange

4

If your buying this film you know how great it is its a true classic . however this release that's even advertised on the card wrap around that comes attached to the steelbook as a limited numbered edition dose not come with the laser etched numbering as promised (one of the reasons I bought it. It isn't a one off either I purchaced two of these both minus the laser etching, a quick search online and youll find lots of people scratching there heads over the same issue. like I said a great film but don't buy if you want the numbered edition as promised.

Visually and metaphorically superior!

5

A great film, however this is about the Zavvi steelbook. Just for saying, my number is 3693. The number is small and not overpowering with the image on the front. The name and image of the kids on the front are all embossed. The back image is great as well. The inside image is good as I do like it when the inside artwork is black and white. Definitely a necessity to a collection for steelbooks, foreign films, limited editions or for whatever reason, it is worth buying.
