Undestimated Classic
5Although running for six seasons, I always felt that this series was underrated and deserved more praise than it actually received. .Highly original at the time, the series creators took the plunge with this variant of the Grimm fairytales. Essentially, a Police detective finds out he is a descendent of a long line of Grimms whose only apparent aim is to exterminate various creatures collectively known as Wesen who live amongst us in plain site but Grimm's are able to see them. But Nick turns out to be not a traditional Grimm and comes to realise that not all Wesen are bad. His journey throughout the series affects not only him and his girlfriend but everyone close to him and, as you would expect, there are enough twists and turns to keep you guessing. The cast was always excellent. Nick Guintoli was well cast as the titled character and the supporting cast was particularly strong but Silas Weir Mitchell as Monroe was particularly effective as Nick's Wesen confidante. This box set of seasons 1 - 3 is a great introduction to the Grimm universe and I guarantee you will want to see the remaining series after viewing this box set. Incidentally, Giuntoli married his Grimm co-star Elizabeth Tulloch, who played his girlfriend Julia in the series, in June 2017 which is kind of cool. Recommended.

Spooky romp
4The premise that 'supernatural criminal' profilers, 'Grimm's' are born not made and the fact that the producers of the show produced @buffy the vampire slayer' tells you exactly what you are in for. Darker than 'Buffy' but not as chilling as they would have you believe, but still a nice bit of escapism.

4The programme on the blu ray is very good. The only complaint is the the damaged to the blu ray cases.

Perfect bargain
5I just love this set of Grimm Seasons 1-3. It is a perfect bargain for its price, excellent picture quality for a TV series, great extras and with English subtitle. Definitely worth the purchase.
