life of pie steelbook
5The steelbook is very beautiful with no scratches, embalage was perfect! It was send fast especially since I live in France! Well protected too.I will continue to buy more steelbooks. Thanks!

Spectacular
5It is quite rare to see a visionary spectacle nowadays. To engulf yourself in a motion picture that moves you. In a world with so little originality left, Life of Pi steps in and takes the audience to a magical place. Based on the incredible novel by Yann Martel, Life of Pi tells the story of the title character who gets shipwrecked with nothing but a small boat to survive on for 27 days. Oh and there is also a tiger on board! There is so much more to this story but I would hate to spoil it for anyone. Further to that, I bought the beautiful Steelbook edition which is just a breathtaking package. A must buy!

5Excellent film, a dramatic story - I would say all kinds audiences will not be disappointed! Excellent steelbook would decorate shelf of any collector! I would say everything is 10 out of 10!

5Believe it or not, I was more impressed with the the casting choices and performances of the actors in Life of Pi 3D - Limited Edition Steelbook (Includes 2D Blu-Ray and Digital and UltraViolet Copies) than by the effects. Granted, the movie was very beautiful, but in the end, Life Of Pi was more character driven than anything. Suraj Sharma as the young Pi was charming, funny, and incredibly engaging, while Irrfan Khan as the older Pi was fantastically genuine and warm. Adil Hussain as Pi's father was also a joy to watch. The characters are so rich and full of life that you really can't help but fall in love with them. I would also like to add, as someone who spends time with tigers on a daily basis, the animators did a wonderful and accurate job of bringing Richard Parker to life and making him the active and vital character that is so incredibly essential to the success of this story. I would recommend seeing Pi in 3D, because I think that's it's essential to your viewing enjoyment. The 3D takes a beautiful film and makes it a little bit nicer. Also, if you've read the book and are concerned that the story you loved may have been compromised in anyway, worry no longer. This is easily one of the best book to film adaptations I have ever seen.

5Life of Pi 3D - Limited Edition Steelbook (Includes 2D Blu-Ray and Digital and UltraViolet Copies) is visually stunning in 3D and in HD. I couldn't recommend it enough. It requires repeated viewings to see how beautiful it is to watch. It's highly recommended.

Wonderful
5For a long time I have not felt so many emotions at seeing a movie, the scenes in Life of Pi 3D are so beautiful that one has the impression of looking at a painting or a work of art. The story is fun to follow and even if the film is long, you never get bored. The sets are lavish and the mastery of the play of light lulls us into a magical atmosphere making us forget sometimes if it's a dream or reality. Animals, but especially the tiger take the place of an actor without problem. It is a sublime tale worth to linger. I therefore advise to anyone who loves poetry, will have a good time. Besides the steelbook edition is lovely. Go ahead with your eyes closed.

Good movie
3Life of Pi 3D is a good movie but not a great movie. The 3D is excellent and helps to give some interest to this honest movie. It's not the best Ang Lee movie but is a decent one.

Excellent Steelbook
5Life of Pi 3D is an excellent Steelbook, with an eye-catching lenticular 3D cover. The enclosed 2D Blu-ray disc works on a North American PS3. The steelbook arrived in pristine condition thanks to protective packaging. The movie itself is spectacular and thought-provoking. Thanks Zavvi for a wonderful steelbook release.

5The Life of Pi 3D was great. It's one of the best steelbooks I've seen. The steelbook comes with a lenticular magnet on the cover that adds to the already great design. The back artwork is great too. Other than that the movie is terrific and shows beautifully on blu-ray. Overall a great purchase from Zavvi.
