Predators: Trilogy Set
4The first Predator movie is good with a star cast featuring Arnold Schwarzengger and Carl Weathers from the Rocky movies. Predator 2 was alright with Danny Glover from the Leathal Weapons movies playing his part convicingly but the other actors weren't at their best. The third movie has a good storyline with a little twist at the end of the movie, which I won't spoil. The Predator Trilogy is well worth having in any collection.

4The Films: 9/10 I can't think of any action movie more masculine than the original "Predator". Made in the 80's with a very low budget. "Predator" revolves around a bunch of elite forces team who are on a mission in a South American jungle. Little do they know, they will soon become the prey and get stalked by an intergalactic hunter. The original predator is an iconic movie and deserves all the great things that has been said about it. The 2 sequels on the other hand aren't as great as the original but they sure do come close. The first sequel takes places in L.A. 10 years after the events of the first one and our "Predator" gets to have more fun in the city than he did in the jungle. This movie has so many shortcomings but it is a very good mythology movie and expands on the first movie. The second sequel returns to the roots and goes back to the jungle but this time the action takes place on a neutral planet. It is an amazing movie that builds tension and then goes berserk during the last act. Video Quality: 6/10 The first movie has one of the least impressive transfers ever. It is rather bad as there is so much DNR and pretty much all facial structures look as if they have been drenched in Wax. The sequels are much better looking than the original. The thrid predator looks the best as it is released recently. Audio Quality: 10/10 I have no complains what-so-ever about the audio as all three films sound awesome. All the speakers are utilised perfectly. You will have a blast listening to these movies. They are very loud and clear. Supplements: 9/10 Over 6 hours of special features that touches on all the processes that went into the making of all three films and lots of amazing trivia are provided throughout. I enjoyed all the special features on all three films and the commantaries are worth a listen. Overall: 8/10 Despite the troublesome video transfer on the first film, I still highly recommend this collection as it includes the best "Predator" films and some interesting special features and they all sound awesome. Just go and add this to your collection next to the Alien Anthology.
