The most disappointing steelbook for the best Star Wars film
2The disc content is great. Nothing more to say about that. As many others have said, whoever designed this steelbook had one job... and failed. To use the teaser poster when ALL the others in the set used classic poster art makes this a joke. It stands out like a sore thumb and renders the original trilogy somewhat with an 'incomplete' feeling as the prequel trilogy and even the sequel trilogy have covers that fit with one another. They look good on the shelf. I bought it because I'm a collector. ONLY that reason. As a casual buyer I would have thought... OK, whatever. To top it off, mine like many others had the two horizontal scuff marks across the top half. Not damage, more a production error. Very disappointing. Still, I imagine it paves the way for another re-issue with maybe a better set of covers, eh? (There's sarcasm in that final remark.)

out of place
2Bought this with A New Hope and Return of the Jedi and the steelbook cover looks so out of place compared to the other two that you'd think it wasn't from the same release pack. The 4K transfer is also no better than any previous Blu Ray so I wouldn't recommend.

Great film, bad steelbook
1Great film, probably best in the series. Unfortunately Zavvi's steelbook is laiden with issues from the cover design chosen to the actual product being severly damaged. Hundreds of complaints and still waiting on Zavvi to investigate and offer new replacements.

Succumbed to the Dark side.
4Great steel-book. Liked cover but just falls a little short Of awesome as it is not the movie poster artwork that the other releases had. Happy enough though as it still is a quality release.

A classic, never looked better
5This is such a good film that it should be the law that everyone should own a copy. I already had it on Blu-ray as part of the old complete set, from phantom to Jedi, but to get a 4K version was an opportunity I was not going to miss. The artwork on the steelbook front cover is not as good as those on new hope or Jedi but there is no arguing with the High def quality of the movie itself. Some extra features as well, but this is a must have for the chance to watch 4K picture and stunning sound as the walkers stomp their way towards the rebel base. Enjoy.

Great addition / bad artwork
1Great addition to my collection, but it would have been better if they could have had artwork inline with the other two movie posters. I have purchased the whole set and this is the only one I am unhappy with. Apart from that, it’s a great little steelbook.

Classic Film, Poor Steelbook
2While The Empire Strikes Back will forever be one of the greatest films ever made, the steenbok it is packaged in does let it down. Although there has been a lot of discussion around the image that has been used for the front of the steelbook, my copy arrived with clear manufacturing defects. There are some clear lines on the front cover that, judging by the youtube videos and reviews I have seen, appear to be consistent across the whole batch of this release. Really disappointed.
