Highly recommended
5As a big Tolkien fan, I´m aware of the liberties taken in the Hobbit film series... and I don´t mind. That beign said, I didn´t really understand why some of the liberties were taken. Seeing this version of Desolation of Smaug I do, however, understand it more. Nice elaboration of the story I will not ruin for new viewers. Packed with extra features og both picture and sound is stellar. Just buy it already.

Brilliant
5Steel book and all the extras are what you come to expect from these films. If you own the the first Hobbit film then this extended edition is a must. The extended parts to the film really adds substance and are a joy to watch. Now looking forward to the last film out soon.

The hobbit: desolation of smaug extended edition
5Brilliant steelbook, the movie itself is even better with the extended scenes, really ties the story together more. Highly recommended for a fan of the series!!
