Excellent remaster
5All three films benefit from the remaster. Picture quality, colour and sound. The extended versions explain quite a few things which seem missing from the theatrical versions. Well worth getting.

LotR Never Looked Better!
5These 4K versions of the films let you journey to Middle-Earth like never before. The colours are vibrant, and I have noticed new details in the films that I've watched dozens of times. They really have made this set worth repurchasing the films for 4K. My one complaint would be that the box presentation itself is a tad underwhelming, and they lack the scene booklets that both the DVD and Blu-Rays of the extended versions had. Nevertheless, if you watch these films a lot, as I do, then it really is worth picking up this new 4K set.

Stunning
5I've seen this trilogy several times on blu ray so I thought I'd buy these extended 4k editions and it was money well worth spent, the picture is absolutely beautiful especially the outside scenes is where you really appreciate the beauty of the 4k scenery and the directors vision for this trilogy, the dolby atmos is an easy 10 with little sound effects that I've never noticed before and it makes all the difference, one of the best 4k transfers I've ever seen

That's how you should watch this amazing trilogy!
5I've watched The Lord of the Rings first in the movie theatres once it came out, then on DVDs and then on Blue Rays. It was time to test out the 4K Ultra HD version on my PS5 and my LG OLED and oh boy what an experience. 10/10 recommend everyone with a 4K ultra HD player and an OLED or QLED tv to give this a try !

5I liked the 4k collection of the movie the resultion and sons are great and the quantity there is 9 discks inside it's really a great collection and a must own
