Absolutely breathtaking!
5One of the strongest experiences I've ever had watching a movie. A totally gripping film with FANTASTIC performances, score, cinematography and directing. You won't forget this film. The steelbook is, as always, beautiful. Well done, Zavvi. It really captures the kind of harsh and depressing purity of the film, with the boy and his father always at the center of the story. Really, buy this now, the price is NOTHING for a great product. Highly reccomended!!

A great film & a very well designed steelbook
5Truthfully a film that stays lodged in you mind, a great star cast & Viggo. M one more time shows his excellent acting talent, he never let's you down( A History of Violence, Eastern Promises, L.O.T.R.,)The landscapes the post apocalyptic feel that is placed before you, the story. The steelbook itself is designed to match no question the films theme Viggo & His son in the movie are placed in such a small frame, to present to us the desolation & the nothingness that surrounds them to a T, the grey is like mixed with a sought of smokiness that are protagonists are within a kind of suffocation. Really close to the book & collectable? Yes indeed!.

A Triumphant Retelling of Cormac McCarthy's Masterpiece
5John Hillcoat's adaptation of McCarthy's The Road is a bleak, somber story of a father and son's survival in a post-apocalyptic world. To make a film drenched in greys and covered in grime and dirt look so beautiful is quite the achievement, and the connection to the two central characters is powerful. A must-see. This film is topped off by a fantastic steelbook cover, that shouldn't be overlooked by any collector or fan of the movie.

Truly Excellent
5A favourite of mine for the depth and honesty of a what a post apocalyptic world could be like, as excellent as the book is but in its own way. The steelbook edition looks fantastic and the sparse artwork is a great representation of the movies style.

Well made Steelbook
4The film is a quite dark and melancholy movie depicting the journey of a father and his young son from their home in the middle of the US to the coast after the end of civilization. What exactly happened is not the Topic of this movie, so the end of the world is not shown. The planet is mostly in ashes with hardly any plant and basically no animal life. The vast majority of humans is dead. The steelbook is well made and contains an English disc version (no other dubbing languages, no other language subtitles).
