Horror classics
5Getting these Universal Horror classics remastered on blu-ray thru Zavvi was great. Great films, great price, very cool collection with booklet and poster cards etc. It was a major deal. I would do it if you love the classics.

Proper Scary
5What an absolute gem of a box set this is. Well worth the money. All the old classic monsters, presented in a nice box and lots of info and special extras for the avid fan. Would recommend to anyone.

Amazing
5Got this at a real bargain from Zavvi. Picked it up on Black Friday sales week. The packaging is great and came to Canada without any damages. The collection itself is worth your money. 8 discs of classic movies remastered in hi def and hi def sound. You get DTS HD master 2.0 mono track and for movies this old it's amazing. Tons of special features and original poster art from all the movies along with a booklet. The discs sit two on the same side overlapping each other buy having seperare grooves. This packaging is way better than the north american version as the discs are easy to remove without any damage. Great going Zavvi.

Looks brilliant.
5I have only managed to watch Dracula - it looks brilliant. Only issue is the sound, it sounds perfect but there is a slight static noise over the top which can be distracting during the quiet periods. The product itself, is great! Especially the movie poster cards that come along with it. A well designed product for Monster fans! The design on the discs are also a nice feature. Picked this up for a steal on Black Friday, bought a couple products of Zavvi now and they are great!

Unmissable for monster lovers
5This is a great box for an unbeatable price. The 8 films look great on Blu-ray; a lot better than their dvd versions. Even though some are them are more than 75 (!) years old, the upgrade in image quality warrants a purchase on Blu-ray. On top of that, the 3D version of 'Creature from the Black Lagoon' in this collection looks amazing, it's almost reason enough by itself to purchase this great collection. The box also contains a nice 48 page booklet with pictures and info, as well as 8 postcards.

Superb
58 classic movies on blu-ray for only €19 in the Zavvi clearance sale, what a price. Each movie was meticulously restored, video and audio. Critics mentioned how the movies had not looked that good even when released theatrically in the 1930's. Any horror fans dream. This boxset takes pride and place in my collection.
