Catch it before the Hipsters Do
5This album has become a regular to listen to in the past few weeks and there are a lot of favourites. Most played is definitely 'String em along' but 'I Must be Blind' concludes the album so well that it must garner a mention. This is a refined debut album and will satisfy all your rock needs. Think Seven Mary Three meets Velvet Revolver. They have an illustrious road ahead of them and this album will hopefully be the first of many!

Transitions
5There aren't many albums which grip me from the first listen, but Transitions became one of the very few that did just that. I've lost count of how many times i've listened to it already, particularly loving Impatience! Great addition to any music lovers collection. Fantastic debut.

This Goes Up To Eleven :-)
5I bought this album, having seen The Fetts play live at Bramfest last year. I was amazed at how full the sound was for a three piece. Their songs are clearly crafted with real care & attention as the sound is simply amazing! Stand out tracks on the album are Impatience, String 'em Along and Lend A Little Light.

Very Very Impressive
5The Fetts' debut album brings a whole new fresh look on rock. The strong lyrics complements the rock tone very nicely and the powerful upbeat beats and the bass will make you uncontrollably nod your head in time with the beats This album contains eleven cleverly crafted rock songs the the voice of Ben Evans is just what is needed to acomplice the drumming of Rob Baker and the bass of Dan Cuomo. It all fits together perfectly. I definitely recommend this album for any fans of the music of Foo Fighters or Nirvana. I centainly think that The Fetts give Dave Grohl a run for his money.

Small band, BIG sound...
4I saw this band appear on Zavvi's music pages a few weeks ago and knowing nothing about them I decided to seek them out on the interweb! After listening to some interesting sample tracks on their facebook page ('Lend A Little Light' in particular sticking to mind) I decided to give the album a go... ...I wasn't disappointed! On the whole, the album contains a great mix of good, old school style rock anthems, with some that wouldn't look out of place standing next to the big boys (my fabourite being the aforementioned 'Lend A Little Light' but also 'Not A Machine' and 'Impatience'). The album dynamic changes sufficiently, breaking up the 11 songs into an enjoyable listening experience, my only critisism being the link between tracks... (I was a massive fan of 'Start Something' by Lost Prophets and felt this album could have benefited from tieing the tracks together in a similar style). If, like me, you're into Rock and a fan of bands like FFs, QOTSA, Biffy etc, then you will likely enjoy this album. There's nothing groundbreaking BUT there are some very good songs within, well played and produced. Interesting times ahead if the band can make strides in differentiating themselves from similar bands on the circuit. Good luck and definitely recommended, 4* Thanks to Zavvi for prompt delivery! ~ Rufus

Your new favourite band
5I've been following this band since their first gig at The Water Rats a couple of years ago. Instantly blown away by their singers voice, their catchy riffs and their accomplished songs, I jumped for joy when I heard they were releasing their first album. Oh yeah, this band are still unsigned! To have the album go to number one on pre-orders without any backing? THAT'S how good they are. Word of mouth alone is driving orders for this album. The Fetts are a three piece from London, who sound like they should have four guitars. A big sound, they've been compared to a mix between The Stereophonics and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers in the press. I've heard most of the tracks live, but there are a couple that are new to me. I've ordered my copy, and I can't wait. Check their facebook page for a preview of their songs.
