Best of breed
5This box set showcases the real brilliance of 30 Rock - it arrived perfectly formed from episode 1, a combination of pin-sharp writing, impeccable casting and a finely honed sense of its own stupidity. It's right up there with Arrested Development, and what's more amazing is that they have maintained the brilliance through five seasons - the number of dud episodes could be counted on one hand. Hugely recommended.

5The Show: 5/5 30 Rock is one of the funniest shows on TV. It is inspired by Saturday Night Live and is created by the ex-head writer on SNL, Tina Fey. This half-hour sitcom, shows what goes behind the scenes of a sketch comedy. It is clever, witty, heart-warming, well-performed and extermely funny series, that I whole-heartedly recommend. The Package: 4/5 This boxset includes the first 4 seasons of the award winning show. Each season comes in a single amaray case with 3 discs inside each. Totaling 12 discs. Video Quality: 4/5 All 4 seasons are in anamorphic widescreen which is a plus point. The transfer is generally quite good throughout all 4 seasons. No complains here. Audio Quality: 4/5 On the plus side, the audio is in Dolby Digital 5.1 surround. I was really impressed with the audio option as the diloagues and the musical notes sound strong. On the flip side, No subtitles are provided for the first 3 seasons which is a bit of a shame as some jokes are lost in translation. Special Features: 3/5 The 1st season is barebones. There are no extras whatsoever. Seasons 2 to 4 fare much better as they include commentaries, behind the scenes footages, funny deleted scenes and some other nice extras. Overall: 5/5 Despite some shortcomings, I am giving this a perfect grade simply because this is a classic comedy TV show that shouldn't be missed. It is really so funny and poignant. It belongs in everybody's library.

Brilliant Show!
530 Rock is a great comedy show. Episodes last around 20 minutes, so you can watch it even if you don't have that much time. It evolves around the producers of a fictitious NBC-comedy show. A brilliant idea that opens lots and lots of opportunities. There are a some jokes that are very much US related, so you should now a bit of the american culture to get all the jokes. Even if you don't you can still enjoy the show very much! The box is well made, you get one casing for every season and they are also wrapped into a paperboard. Nothing to complain about, it's a bargain!
