What a bargain!
5Being a big fan of The X files and already owning a few VHS Tapes and DDS ... I couldn't miss out on this X Files Seasons 1-9 plus Movies set, especially with the price. It comes in a very compact case (for 52 discs) and looks fantastic with the rest of DVD Boxsets. I would truly recommend this to anyone who likes paranormal/aliens etc.

Mulder fix!
5One of the best TV shows ever. Full of mystery. A great cast and storylines that even after all this time keep you hooked and on the edge of your seat. I have always been a big fan of The X Files and Zavvi have the most amazing deal on at the moment for the boxset and the movies. And now I get to spend my time with Mulder and Scully!

The Truth Is Out There
5Everything you'll ever want regarding the X-Files is right here in one box. Every episode and both movies. For those of you that already love the X-Files that will be enough. A couple of considerations for those of you that care about issues of quality. The series themselves are exactly as you'll remember, however there are still those moments of black screen when the series cut to adverts on US TV, no effort has been made to edit these neatly together (perhaps that just makes me fussy!). That to me this just seems sloppy. On the plus side there are all sorts of extras and deleted scenes for those wishing to go deeper into the X-Files mysteries. The physical packaging is very pretty to look at, however with 4 series in each box (give or take) the 2 larger boxes are prone to splitting on the internal spine making them hard to select the right DVD without dropping a bunch of them, this however will only be an issue for you if you are totally ham-fisted (as I am!). The covering box is cardboard and will not really last long if you store the DVDs in it and use it regularly to extract the boxes to watch a DVD. This will only matter if you, like me, are OCD enough to worry about such trivial matters. I bought the collection a little while ago and have already watched the 200 or so episodes. These are as fantastic as ever and having the chance to watch them over such a short space of time really helps develop your understanding of the numerous sub-plots and themes that run through the 9 series as an undercurrent, these of course are the real reason for the success of the X-Files and make the series so compelling. For this reason alone it is worth the purchase. If you are new to the X-Files, where have you been? At this price it is worth a punt. I know you will enjoy it, well ...."I want to believe"

An Essential TV Series
5The X Files - Seasons 1-9 is a fantastic set of series, and includes both movies in a nice compact collection. Later seasons can become heavy going in parts, but this is very much offset by the mind-blowing twists and turns it takes on the way from the very first episode. One of those boxsets to buy and work your way through on rainy evenings! At this price you really don't need to hesitate.

X-Files Box Set
5Not a lot of point in talking about the content because you'll either love the X-Files or you won't. The X Files - Season 1-9 plus Movies set is very nicely packaged. I'll definitely buy from Zavvi again.
