It's going to be hard to explain what makes Guild Wars 2: Collector's Edition so good. It mixes many of the best aspects of MMORPGs and then throws in a few of its own. I'm still only scratching the surface of this game but from what I have experienced it is a mass of content from the start, the world is huge with each section of it a vast landscape of missions, vistas and mini bosses but that's just a tiny part of Guild Wars. One of the main things that sets aside this game from many other MMORPGs is the story, or in this case your story. You are given a choice of 5 races each with there own territory in the world of Tyria but while you're creating your character you are given choices to shape his/her personality which in turn shapes your story. Aside from the story there is PVP (player vs player) the game helps you in this area by maxing your level in these areas; giving you equal footing to take down your enemies. My favourite thing so far is world vs world in which you join an army of players to fight a war against an equally large number of opposing players to control territory. The product itself is great quality and both the figure and tin look incredibly detailed, inside the tin your are given a frame with 5 prints to do with what you will, as well as an art book and soundtrack. Overall I would say the only downside to this purchase was the cost, but if you're a huge Guild Wars fan like myself it's a minor detail to a game that easily has years worth of content.

Amazing!

The 10 inch figurine of the Charr Rytlock Brimstone that comes with Guild Wars 2: Collector's Edition is perfect. It has nice stability and the detail is incredible! The tin also has stunning details of the map of Tyria. The frame and art pieces are stunning! The book has tonnes of info and was perfect to read while I awaited the release. 10 days old and the smell of the inside of the tin remains preserved. Call me weird but I love the smell so I shut the tin quickly to preserve it. Overall I'd give this 10 out of 10.

Guild Wars 2: Collector's edition was full of items explaining the game and fantastic artwork. Items to help you in in game are also included. The figure of one of the characters is massive and looks really cool sat next to my computer. The game is enormous and full of things to do that will keep you busy and amused for years to come, go buy it now.

Completely worth it!

Guild Wars 2: Collector's Edition was worth every single penny. It's just about the right price for everything you get. The 5 pieces of artwork are amazing and, to a layman like me, they're really high quality. The 6th print comes inside its own frame meaning I can, at any point, swap the pieces around to have any of them hanging on my wall. Though I think I'll just buy 5 more frames instead. The 'Making of..' book is, again, a visual delicacy. The pages are filled with a wealth of artwork as well as containing a brief story of the inception to the design and implementation of the game. Handy to read whilst waiting for the game to download the updates from the Arenanet servers. Also included is the 'Best of..' soundtrack. The music, composed by legendary composer Jeremy Soule (you may remember him from the original Guild Wars and, more recently, the awesome 'The Elder Scrolls - Skyrim'), puts together the heart of what this game is all about. Adventurous, yet dramatic. Each piece seems to resonate with the core foundation, ethos and practice of each of the 5 playable races of Tyria. Then we come to the game itself. Guild Wars 2 is, in my eyes, as close to the most perfect game I've ever played. The split between PvE (the game) and PvP (mulitiplayer combat) works amazingly well for an MMO. Indeed, with the inclusion of the World vs World system, I too have succumbed to the joys of PvP - an element to every game which I have, till now, despised. The PvE aspect is well implemented too. The storyline is designed to be personal to your character meaning that there are multiple variations to each gaming experience. The storyline itself is set out in small arcs so you can go off and mace Centaurs in the face without worrying too much about missing any big chunk of story. It makes me happy as to just how custom-made your character can become. Plus setting foes on fire with your torch never becomes boring. I can see myself playing this for another 5 years at least. Thank you, A-Net.

Guild Wars 2

I have played the first Guild Wars for just over 7 years and I can see the same amount of time being spent on Guild Wars 2. The game itself is excellent, it's made to the highest possible standard but there are issues. Read the minimum specs needed for this game, and make sure you are way above that. If you can get past that, you will not be disappointed.

Epic only wish my computer could handle it

Guild Wars 2: Collector's Edition was well worth the extra money for the collector's. Playing the game is intense and I've never quite seen an MMO like it, nor have I played one that features such an interactive world. The game is amazing to start with but it feels like it was built with the potential to grow. The more you play, the storylines open up so much more which allows new content to be added at any time. I think the best way to describe it would be to say that in it's current state it is not a completed framework of a game, but the foundations of something that will continue to grow the more it is played. The artwork collection that comes with the Collector's edition is amazing. I love to see where the character ideas are created and how all of the conceptual artwork makes its way into the game. I'd recommend this to any MMO player and anyone with an interest in playing a game that will change the way games are currently played.
