Like an Anime
4A good action game but it's more like viewing an Animé than playing one. Not much game-play but still a good game.

Asura's Wrath
3As a fan of manga and Japanese anime, you won't be disappointed. The structure of Asura's Wrath is similar to anime, it's divided into multiple episodes, including a preview of the next one. The story is pretty simple, but the action scenes are some some of the most spectacular you'll ever see. The gameplay is as simple as it is interesting, repetitive and boring. But you could find some fun in the boss battles. QTE are everywhere, but you fail, you won't be penalized, except in the score at the end of each chapter. The graphics are beautiful, and the character design is extremely well done. This is a weird game, spectacular, sometimes fun, sometimes boring. If you are a fan of Japanese culture, you will appreciate it. But for everyone else, it's hard to recommend.

Like an anime
5Asura's Wrath is just like an anime, the story is deep with many climaxes that end in the power up of Asura. Just like an anime/manga, the protagonist will power up in time of crises! The number of quick time events grants this title space to tell the story during the battle, another similarity to an anime. In many games you usully have the story interrupted by some fights, like DMC4 where there's a video at the beginning and at the end of the boss battle and the story will restart only after the boss fight. Another great thing of the game is that it's a beat 'em up ! Perfect graphics, I mean just look at the body of Asura! Ever detail of his body is tidy! The environments are great too. Simple gameplay; if the game was too hard it would be too repetitive. Overall, this is a perfect game for an anime fan like me, where you can be involved within the story of a game. This game is worth every single penny, so it deserves some space in your collection.
