Arkham origins review
5At first I was skeptical about this game after reading a few of those "not so good" reviews. Turns out the game is really good, even compared to the first two Arkham games. Story is great, game play is basically the same as the first two games, extra content is interesting, and there is plenty of it. I am really glad I pre-ordered it, and would recommend it to everyone that enjoyed the first two games. Cheers!

Batman arkham origins
5I have played all the batman titles so far and each time they seem to just get better and better. I like the way they have introduced Gotham city and the new detective mode is a fantastic addition. The only draw back with the game is the length of the main story if it was longer it would be a monster of a game.

My first pre-order
5Upon my first purchase at Zavvi, I've been heavily impressed on my pre-order for Batman: Arkham Origins. It had arrived a day earlier than the initial release day which was pleasing, and emphasised on the quality service that I assume Zavvi continuously works hard on. This will influence me on future purchases, especially with the involvement of 'Zavvi Reward Points'.

5I was a little worried when I heard that Rocksteady were not making this game and that WB Montreal were, but I believe they got all the code from Rocksteady so that they had a good base to work from. It is basically more of the same, a main mission where something like 8 enemy bosses are out to kill you in an evening and you have a lot of sub missions to play too. The controls are pretty much the same as in Arkham City, the powerups are mostly the same and it is entertaining enough. The first boss fight was pretty tough because I put points in the wrong things to train up and I have only played a few more hours beyond this point so I still have some way to go. There seem to be a lot less riddles to work out than in the previous games, and on first impressions, there is a little something missing, maybe a bit of polish or that extra little bit of love, maybe obsession that takes it to that higher level. Whereas Arkham City is a solid 9/10, this comes in just under that, at about 7.5-8/10. If you like Batman, I would definitely recommend it. I think if Rocksteady had done the game, it would probably have been up at the 9/10 kind of level, but until they release their next game, whatever it is, this will do in the meantime.

5Batman: Arkham Origins (Includes Pre-order DLC) is one of the most entertaining open world games to date. There's so much to do, and so much to explore in Arkham City. I played the previous title, Arkham City, and really enjoyed it, so I also recommend you buy Arkham city. A true masterpiece. Enjoy!

LOOKS SO GOOD
5Batman: Arkham Origins looks immense I'm not kidding and for the price of it on zavvi its amazing. I highly recommend that people buy stuff from zavvi as its so cheap and good.
