Dead rising 2 review

The game dead rising 2 is a very nice game, but he has his bads. The game is about a man, called chuck greene. he lost his wife in the last zombie outbrake, and now there is a new zombie outbreak in another city. the only survivors have to wait for 3 days until the millitary arrives, and in the meantime there is many survivors chuck can save. He also have his daughter, she needs a medicine every 24 hours or she turns into a zombie, because she got bitten. but, the game is very short. If you finish all the story missions and the side missions, you will finish the game in less then 10 hours. Still, you can play the game 3-4 times if you'd like to finish all the trophies. The multiplayer is fun at the begining, but it will become bored after a few hours of playing the multiplayer. There is also a co-op mode, so you can play with your friends. The game is very cheap so I still recomended buying it (especially if you need anything else in the "2 games in 25 pounds" sale.

Some good, some bad

If you are looking for: 1) Lots of zombie killing 2) An open world approach to a game 3) A pressured and dynamic world environment. 4) A 1001 ways to kill zombies. Then this game will amuse you. However, one of my key complaints is too often this game conceals important information in the storyline from you - for example - you have to tackle lots of key storyline tasks by certain times - indeed, the whole gameworld runs on a schedule and what you achieve MUST happen by certain times - so no hanging about - you need to learn the gameworld in short order, get the right tools and get to the right places in plenty of time. This can make the game VERY frustrating. Especially when you think you left plenty of time for a task and it then springs a 'Part B' on you - great, I've screwed the pooch on this task and now can't continue. Back to the save game. Which leads me to part B of my not so good. Saving involves a visit to the ingame mens room. They are spread out and typically nowhere near where you need them to be. You lose a boss fight, then find yourself doing the same 'shuffle' through hordes of zombies to relive the fight again. It is a rewarding experience, you WILL have to do many playthroughs to get maximum value. I suspect this game WILL get dull - I mean, there is only so much zombie killing before it gets a bit same-same. Multiplayer is also fun, which makes this game onto the 'buy' list - but only just.

Very good game

Dead Rising 2 is good. Very good, in fact. I felt like I needed to get that out right away. See, a few weeks ago I previewed the first two days of the game, and I found a title that was chugging in spots, suffering from really long loads, and generally not performing like a game that was about to come out. I reported that Capcom said it was aware of the issues and working to fix them, but even I rolled my eyes at the idea of the company getting everything in line for launch day. Well, it's not perfect and it is rough around the edges here and there, but Dead Rising 2 is definitely a winner. Of course, it's also a lot like the last game, so if you thought that one was a loser, you should probably proceed with caution – zombies ahead.

Multiplayerfun

The Game itself is bloddy, funny and cause of that pretty amusing. Much more fun than the Singleplayer Campagn is the Multiplayer-Gameshow "Terror is Reality". Had lots of fun with it, but what I deeply miss is the ability to play TIR with four friends in splitscreen-mode.

Dead rising 2

Well worth the purchase, this game does become dull after a few playthroughs but is brilliant when with a mate. Help survivors, take down psychopaths or simply dress up in ridiculous clothes and explore the mall while on a pink tricycle. challenging but good, tho online is mediocre it still rewards players even if they are last. All in all if you got the time and the money i say go for it

A lot of fun!

Dead Rising 2 is a "Open World" Zombie killing Game that really kicks it! ;) You can find out over a 1000 ways to kill a Zombie, you can use almost everything as a weapon and even combine much more!!!!!^^ So the game really is a lot of fun and you can also have fun with a friend in a coop mode,... The online part is also a lot of fun, so i think all in one you can really spend a lot of time in the game and have even more fun :) Best regards Tirith

Fun game

First of all, I didn't played the first game so when I bought this, I didn't really knew what I was getting into. I watched some videos about combo weapons and it sold me the game, duct tape ftw. You know when you kill some thousands of zombies with your sledgehammer, it becomes a bit boring, so why not tape it with a fire axe for more fun! Pitchfork with a shotgun, wheeling electric chair and such... there is like 50 combo cards to make! The beginning is a bit slow because you don't know the combo, don't have much life etc... Just level a bit. The bad thing is there is too much loading, they're quick but still you have like one loading for the video and then you have another one at the end to resume the game. Also you can play in online co-op with a friend and there is 8 online minigames too. The trophies are rather easy, just a bit time consuming, like you have to use all the weapons and there is like 200 things. It's too bad that there isn't a game mode without the time, because you have only 72 hours ingame and you never have enough time when it comes to killing zombies!

Fifa 10(PS3)

First of all, I know somebody out there is thinking , why is this guy writing a review on Fifa 10 six days before Fifa 11 comes out. The truth is there is a chance of winning £100! Just kidding. Im writing this review because I'm somewhat passionate and ridiculously addicted to soccer games and I want to express the feelings I have about this game and at the same time help you choose whether to buy Fifa or uhm... the other one. SO... For thousands of years (not really) there has been a fight of biblical proportions between the two kings of soccer games PES and FIFA. Even though PES in this context is not relevant in any way I'm going to say that I myself have kind of chosen the side of Fifa after being between a rock and a hard place for a couple of times when choosing which one to buy. This is why. Fifa introduced us to the magical world of 360 degree dribbling, realistic gameplay and many tricks that one can perform only by the slightest of rotations of the right stick. I'm trying not to use fancy vocabulary or any jokes to explain the pros and cons of Fifa 10 but to in a very common fashion address the points that I feel are very typical for Fifa 10. Fifa is a realistic soccer game that offers challenge, an unbelievably wide range of teams(with license), fancy tricks and possibilities to score great goals with either a finesse shot or just a good old normal shot. Graphics are good and accurate and the fact that one can perform his/her own celebration from a variety of possibilities after scoring is cool touch to the game. The gameplay hasn't been radically changed comparing to Fifa 09, but those little tweaks and improvements add depth to the game. Manager mode is the mode you want to play. Buy new players, improve your staff and stadium or scout new players from all over the world by spending some cash and play exciting games against opponents from your league that is completely licensed. You can also create your own virtual pro, put your face on the player and play him in manager mode or on be-a-pro where you control only one player in the team and rise to stardom from being just a rookie to fan favourite and finally the captain of your team and your national team. The word opponent, though, brings us to the cons of fifa 10. The AI is decent as the opponents do try to take the ball from you and sometimes use great tricks and shots to score against you. Although, most of the time the gameplay against AI opponents is overshadowed by minor but annoying flaws. These are most of the typical flaws/bugs : On a bouncing-ball situation it seems that the ball always bounces towards your opponent which means that it is unlikely that you will win the "who wants the ball more" -situation... I mean ever. During goalkicks it is also highly unlikely that you will win the header even if the opponent is behind your back. These problems can be diminished by changing the level of the AI from legendary to world-class or lower (but who really wants to say I beat Barca...with world-class). Sometimes the AI also makes absolutely ludicrous decisions for example lobbs the ball backwards when the alternative would have been running a couple of metres forward and having a 1on1 with the goalie. Despite of these weird flaws it is important to notice that you can make them disappear by playing against your friends. When playing so, you unleash the best that fifa has to offer and will undoubtatly have very few meltdowns. The AI with the goalie is pretty good and the few typical mistakes that the goalies make (like dashing forward when you least want them to, or fumbling an easy ball) propably just makes the game more exciting between you and your friends. Long story short : Fifa 10 has some annoying flaws and it sometimes makes you wonder "wtf were they thinking?" but it is, to my mind, the best, most entertaining and satisfying soccer game out there and I have no doubt in my mind that Fifa 11 won't be the same. So if you don't have the money or you're completely oblivious to the fact that Fifa 11 is coming out ...buy Fifa 10! In the end (comparing to other soccer games out there) you will be satisfied with your choice.
