Excellent Game
5Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is everything I wished skyrim would be. The battles feel more difficult and epic, and the world, in my opinion, is much more immersive than skyrim

One of the best of its genre
5Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is an expansion to the critically acclaimed Dragon's Dogma. It includes the original game and the titular dark arisen expansion. Said expansion is a lengthy new adventure accessible from the beginning though suited for well levelled characters. The game incorporates elements from other great games like Demon's Souls (well paced, deep combat) and Shadow of the Colossus (climbing enemies to attack their weak points). Dragon's Dogma features an expansive semi open world and well crafted character development system (you can try few different character builds during one playthrough). Add great artistic design (enemies look incredible, especially the big ones), lots of content, nice graphics and you get one of the best RPG experiences this generation. There is no other way to get the expansion alone (no stand alone Dark Arisen DLC as of yet). Fortunately the game comes at a reduced price. If you haven't tried Dragon's Dogma yet, this is the version to get.

Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen
5I'd had some misivings about picking this up at Zavvi since they are in the UK, and I'm US based, but the game plays perfectly, and I couldn't beat the price. The game arrived about 10 days after shipping, quite reasonable considering they are overseas. The game is top notch, and since this is an expanded version of the standard dragon's dogma, its a fantastic deal!

5A wonderful game. For all the fans of the first Dogme it will be a great gift in these hot days and in the holidays. Charms from the first minutes of the game exactly how and immerses the player into the atmosphere of battles. If you have not had time to play, then hurry. This game is worth it.

the excellent new version of a great game
5I had previously purchased dragon dogma, and I was tempted to buy the new version. Beyond providing an upgrade of the game with fixing some key issues of the game (except the AI issues) and improving the textures, the new game version provide with a good high level story with a big dose of challenge. Considering the price of the game and the new story this is definitively a great offer. Can't wait for dragon's dogma 2....

AMAZING RPG

Great Game
5The reports I read and the demo I played just doesn't do any justice to the game. Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is a great game and its online features are a breath of fresh air in the RPG genre. It features great music and a fairly good plot, along with it's great game play which makes it a must in any player's collection.

5Well, I loved the original Dragon's Dogma already with all it's quirky and strange features. Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen brings plenty of new material, some gameplay improvements, optional Japanese voice over (it rocks) and lots and lots of challenge. I'm level 200 and wearing the best armour set in the game and still some enemies can whip my a** if I'm not careful. There is great music in this one too. What's not to love? Buy it!

Really good
5Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen is huge, with a lot of quests. It's a humongous world to explore, with many enemies and even more equipment to find. It has stunning visuals, with beautiful landscapes of mountains, rivers, forests, castles and sea. It features epic music and lots of characters, monsters, mages, warriors and dragons! It has great playability, too. For this price, it's best game you can purchase now.

A Flawed Gem
5There really isn't much to say beyond reviews of the original Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. This is a brand new edition with all the DLC, a large (and challenging as well as well-written) new area and several major fixes that significantly improve the game. With most, if not all of its major flaws fixed this is now one of the best RPGs of this generation. It features awesome combat, a large world, lots of secrets and very impressive side quests (some of the best I have ever seen) and a lengthy campaign make this something of a Dark Souls, if Dark Souls tried to be more appealing. Sure it still has some flaws such as occasional very bad dialogue and practically non-existent lip-sync but these are minor issues in a game so massive that gets so much right.
