best game of hitman so far!!

5

I bought this game because I loved the previous game in the series, 'Hitman Blood-Money', and when I started to play this game, I just could not stop! This game is excellent for so many reasons but let's start with the graphics. This game has the most beautiful graphics I have seen so far on my PS3 console, As for the game-play, I think 'Hitman: Absolution' has the best of all the series! Thank you Square Anix for creating this wonderful game!

It's an awesome game with fantastic graphics, hours of fun game play, and I highly recommend this if you are fan of shoot 'em ups and great storylines.

Blood Money´s better

Hitman: Absolution is a good game. The instinct mode isn't as good as the producers planed. You get bothered too fast and that takes away from the fun. It's still enjoyable though.

The Hitman series has always been a fan favourite amongst stealth and strategy gamers. With this latest instalment we can finally see Agent 47 in high definition and ready to exercise those specialist skills of his. The gameplay is relatively straightforward, with on screen hints and tips for those in need of a little push in the right direction. The "point shooting" feature is a nice touch, allowing players to select multiple targets and shooting them all in one swoop. The real selling point of this game for me was the fact that there is no set way of completing each level. Players have various gadgets, weapons and distractions that can help them complete their mission, allowing for a more personal approach towards each level. Agent 47 is seen in various situations and locations that players will have to either fight their way out or sneak out of. With an intriguing storyline with many plot twists and turns, it's certain that you will be kept entertained. Hardcore gamers might not be so impressed as the story isn't by any means long, but the "contracts" feature has plenty to offer, allowing players to create their own hit lists and assassinations. I would defiantly recommend Hitman Absolution to any action loving gamers as its been for too long for Mr 47 to re-appear on our video game screens. So as well as the nostalgia, it brings hope that a game franchise that I personally enjoy is still going strong and has not let me down.

There were fears that this game might not be able to live up the previous gems in this series. Fortunately IO have produced a fantastic game. The much talked about instinct meter does change the game mechanics but your use of this skill is diminished as you move up the difficulties. There is also a split in the difficulty menu with easy and normal coming under enhanced, whilst the higher difficulties come under professional. Essentially this changes how much instinct you can have, how quickly it runs down amongst other options culminating in the top difficulty which adds lots of enemies and removes instinct completely. This is the purists level and is as difficult as it sounds. It's also a very good looking game. The lighting looks gorgeous, illuminating the intricate details that have been placed in the environments. Sound is also superb with shouts and cries occurring all around you in certain levels. Also the interaction between certain NPCs is nothing short of hilarious. The overriding feeling about this game is one of enjoyment. Each level has one or more targets with multiple ways of carrying out the hit ranging from dropping a piano on his head to the more direct shooting him in the face with a silenced pistol. The choices are endless! The final thing to mention is contracts mode - a user generated mode based on the levels in the game. New hits are created and then uploaded for the world to try their hands at. You are rewarded at the end of the mission with cash depending on the value of the hit, technique and how quickly you escape. Overall I would highly recommend this game to anyone. If you are a fan of the series and don't own this you are massively missing out.
