Fantastic!!

For anyone whos played the first game and followed the story will not be dissapointed with this. This follows straight after the first one and has a couple of twists, one or two going back to the first game. There are two endings again. Depending on if you decide to be good or evil. Same as the first game except you get unique powers depending on what karma balance you go with. The only slight "flaw" (if you could call it that) is that a few monsters will appear in a impressive fasion as a boss. Then they'll reapear again maybe 50 more times (no exageration) and turns into a normal enemy. There are two unique "gigantic" actual bosses. Even then you fight them both twice. But again this doesn't affect the fun factor of the game. The graphics and music are brilliant and very movie like. The replay value is great as you'll want to play through it twice as both playthroughs are different. And of course theres nothing quite like throwing a car through a helicopter. All in all very recomended

One of the best exclusive PS3 games

InFamous 2 plays it safe. If you have played the first game then you know exactly what to expect from this one. This is not necessarily a bad thing because the first game was very good, but they could have kicked it up a notch in terms of mission design. They have improved the graphics and the gameplay but the mission design is still the same. However, that is pretty much the only minus I can think of. It's still immensely fun and the electrical powers are still cool. You won't regret buying this game!

It's not a top notch game, but I'm sure it's one of the better games out right now. No game breaking DLC's, no annoying bugs, just action-packed gameplay with a not so ordinary story. In conclusion, it is worth the money so buy it and have fun!

A good game but a disappointing sequel

I had quite high expectations for this game, as the first Infamous was amazing. This is a good game itself, but not without problems. There's little new from the previous game, the plot isn't as interesting and rather predictable. If you liked the gameplay in Infamous, you will like this one as well. It is more of the same. The city is more refreshing and side quests more varied. Yet you might end up not caring much about the story, there are new voice actors and I had trouble relating it to the previous game. There was a sense of purpose in the first one, that everything you did was for a reason - that is lacking here. You just do a bunch of side missions, get XP, get a new power. It's easy to end up using just a couple of the many powers, because some are very ineffective or there's no point in learning them because the ones you have already work. A few things are borrowed from the Batman games but they don't work as well here. Movement and combat is nowhere near as good as Arkham City. Enemies are plenty but don't make sense. You will meet a tough-ish boss and there are enough boss fights, they are cool. The problem is that these "unique" bosses are thrown in as regular enemies shortly after. I found this to be annoying and this is different from most other games. You have a certain boss that requires a specific strategy, which you will be forced to repeat 10 more times through the game - why? It's a fun game but might not be worth playing if you already got enough in the first one, as it's not offering much more at all. A bit overrated in commercial reviews in my opinion. It is entertaining though. Fans will like it
