Amazing!
5One of the best platform games ever, and the best Rayman game since the original on PS1. If you like 2D platformers and like co-op games, this is definitely a great choice. It's also easy to get into as well as providing a challenge later on in the game.

Dynamic, addictive, hilarious
5Ive been playing games for over 20 years now and once in a while there comes a game that sits you in front of the screen, hooks you up and gets your fingers stuck to that favorite controller of yours. Rayman Origins is one of these few titles. It takes you back to the days when games werent about the best graphics, motion controls or massive amounts of players whacking at each other. The story: All is good in the Glade of Dreams. Rayman and his friends are chilling out, relaxing, each one in his own style. Each one with a different beat. Now, it all would have been good if the Old Granny from the Land of the Livid Dead couldnt hear all that noise. As vengeful as she is she unleashes an army of Darktoons and other evils onto the Glade. They capture all Nymphs and Electoons and our heroes are off to the rescue. The gameplay: Rayman Origins is a 2D side scrolling Jump and Run. The best part is that you can play it with up to four players. You will journey through several realms each one with its own environment, enemies, soundtrack and features. In each new realm you will learn a new ability which will change the way you play. Every realm is made up of several separate levels in which you and your friends will have to free the Electoons in order to advance further. To spice things up, each level has several challenges which vary from collecting the maximum amount of Electoons, to a time challenge, to the challenge of who will gather the most Electoons. The setting: This is where Rayman Origins really stands out from the crowd. There are just a couple of games with such intense humor built into them, yet leaving them playable by children. Cut scenes are hilarious, the animations of the characters are full of detail and all levels are full of color and tiny features that are just for fun. The team has developed so many details just to put a smile on your face. For instance instead of just waiting for the level to load, you and and your buddies can smack the smiles of those legless heroes of yours. Conclusion: This is a game for the entire family, a game to share with your friends no matter how old you are. A game worth your money.

5Rayman Origins is a fun game with an unusually beautiful graphics in 2D style. Perfect for both a child and an old-school hardcore gamer, and the ability to play up to four players on one screen is a huge plus for the game in the noisy company or whole family.

5With all the 2D platformers that I've played for the past 10 years, this has got to one of the best! The art style is superb, the sound design is as good as it gets with cinematic quality music and quirky sfx, this will appeal to all ages. Marry this with varied game-play mechanics and it's difficult not to be drawn in. Lots of challenging levels mean you'll be playing this for some time before you've completed the whole thing as all games nowadays lots of achievements and costumes are buried within to keep you playing. It was worth every penny!
