Such a nostalgic game...
5Rayman Origins is one of those games that can appeal to a younger audience and still be challenging enough for an older audience to enjoy. Its 2D platforming is really well done, with a very interesting and original level design and simple but effective game mechanics. The artwork is what really shines in this game. Beautiful hand-drawn backgrounds and characters that look gorgeous on HD. The game allows up to 4 player co-op, which can lead to some fun moments between you and your friends. The only downside is that you can hit your partners by accident, which can lead to losing and starting over from the beginning. And there's another thing the game does well. When you lose there's almost no loading time until you re-spawn on the last checkpoint. And there's no lives system either so you don't have to be afraid to start the levels from the very beginning. You can beat the game in 6-8 hours but it still offers you many things to collect in the levels and time trials in almost every level so if you want to beat it 100% you have a long way ahead of you. If you miss the 2D platformers of the old days this is a must buy, and it proves the the genre isn't dead, but it still has a lot to offer.

A game that is simply FUN
4This is a game that remembers that above all games are supposed to be fun. The visuals are gorgeous, audio is incredible and the gameplay is simple and responsive. Recommended to every plat-former fan out there (I did not give it 5 stars because of the lack of online coop but local coop is still fun). Do yourself a favour, try this game out.

fun, fun and fun
4Rayman Origins is a great 2D platform game. Close to Earthworm Jim, there are more or less 60 levels !! The coop mode is a real plus very fun (i play it with my wife). The time attack mode gives you the opportunity to extend the experience. The game play evolve so you have more and more moves. The negative point comes from the characters which are the same, only the colors change. Rayman's universe is cool but not as great as Little Big Planet one. To sum up, you have a very good game, long and fun. It's a must have for all the people who love platform games

Great game!
5I bought this for my 13 yr old son and he loves it! It is highly amusing and is a welcome break from the usual war/fighting games. Highly imaginative and great fun!

So addictive!!
5I never thought that I could get so hooked on a 2D video game living in the photorealistic 3D era. Rayman Origins is simply perfect: beautiful, addictive and funny. You'll lose the sense of time while playing this outstanding game. It's not a higly recommended game, it's a must-buy. Don't hesitate to get your copy, you won't regret it. Some people would think it's a game for children but don't get carried away by its appearance. I'm looking forward to playing the second part which is on the way ;)

Rayman Origins
5Rayman Origins is wonderful, and brings back the old school feel of games. It has a wonderful art direction, which is very colourful and simple. The game contains many levels in various environments and is an absolute blast to play. Moving fast on the ground, swimming, and even gliding in the air to reach the end of a level. The levels are brilliantly designed and this is one of the best platformers to date. Definitely a must buy at the price. It also has local multiplayer but sadly no online modes present, however this will not take away from the fun.
