The Best Resident Evil i have played. For PS MOVE is a great game with enough reality.

Great game for the price

One of the few survival for PS3. A good game, technically and playable (for a survival). Good multiplayer and move compatible. It's annoyin the imposibility to customize buttons so I prefer playing with dualshock. Maybe I'll give another chance with sharp-shooter.

Great game!

Although I have finished Resident Evil 5 long ago, I couldn't wait to get my copy of Resident Evil 5 Gold, because of the bonuses, especially two new episodes - Lost In Nightmares and Desperate Struggle (Lost In Nighmares reminded me on first RE, played years ago on my PSOne). What else to say about RE5? Graphics and entire design are excellent (MT Framework did the great job) and gameplay is great, although atmosfere is little weakened, comparing to previous RE games (my opinion is that game, just like RE4 is lacking of that incredible horror atmosphere first three games had). Anyway, this is must have game and the price is very low, so I'd recommend this game to anyone who likes action adventure games (I wouldn't say survival horror games, since this game is no longer SH)!

Very nice

I haven't played Resident Evil 1-4 so RE5 was the first of the series. When i first played it i was quite surprised. The graphics of this game are just awesome :) The reason why i gave only 4 stars is because i thought it was a horror game. It's not. It is a shooter-game but i still loved it :)

If the PS2 game was already great, imagine what the PS3. The co-op implementation is great and the extra unlockable provides more than enough incentive to play the game through multiple times. If the controls don't bother you, anybody can have a great time playing through this adventure. The gorgeous graphics, the superb sound, the great (if sometimes twitchy) AlI of your partner and the jaw-dropping gameplay take everything that was brilliant about Resident Evil 4 and ramp it up to the next level, making for one of the best gaming experiences ever!

Probably the best co-op game ever. Very dependant on cooperative skills and beeing able to handle the weapons system. Awesome story as well!

Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition (Playstation Move Compatible)

Resident Evil 5 was one of my favorite games of 2009, and it's just as much fun a year later. The extra content included in Gold is just the icing on the cake. If you've waited until now to buy RE5, you might as well go all-out, right? Unsurprisingly the game plays exactly the same as it did first time around, which is sure to disappoint those who wanted to see things mixed up so the control scheme didn’t feel so resolutely out of place. Still, it does a job and the ride is just as exciting as before. The additional content sees a couple of ‘behind the scenes’ stories told, first covering Jill and Chris’ investigation into the Spencer Estate and second Jill and Josh’s escape from the Tricell facility, both as seen previously in cutscenes from the original release. These two bits of DLC clock in at around the one-hour mark each, meaning they are fun distractions that can be blasted through in one sitting – in fact, they have to be, as there’s no way of saving progress. Mercenaries mode makes a re-return, this time with the addition of Resident Evil’s greatest character: Barry Burton. Again, it’s another fun, but brief distraction – and the same can be said for the online Versus mode.

Excellent!

Fantastic story, works brilliantly with the move controller and fixed problems from resident evil 4. Personally not as frightening as its predecessor but still stacked with tense battles with giant mutated enemies.

Great game, great series.

This game is still one of my top 3rd gen games. I bought the original and played it to exhaustion, then bought this one purely for the cheap DLC. People do love complaining about the controls, but they're what make this game stand out. Fed up of yet another COD style game (and there are hundreds of them)? Then buy this as the controls are easy and fluid, adding a whole new level of skill to shooters. The enemies are challenging and often require thought not just fire-power, and as anyone who has played the hardest setting knows even the basic ones are deadly. The AI is sufficient to complete the game on all but the hardest setting, but the Co-Op (online and split-screen) is second to none. The Mercenaries will keep you entertained for months and the DLC is great. Lost in Nightmares reminds you of the first RE, and is even a bit scary. Resident evil has changed over the years, but my guess is people would complain more if it didn't (see RE Zero). All in all an amazing game. If you love it and are new to the RE franchise you must play RE 4 (amazingly even better than this!) and if possible the frightening game-cube remake of the original.
