5Superb gameplay that flows perfectly, keeping the gamer fixed to the screen! Much better than Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City offers so much more. More characters give the game more depth and keep you involved, visiting familiar places from Batman's history and new scenes to date. The storyline has an excellent opening and you are in for a treat with the mind blowing finale! This is a definite must buy!

We built this city...huge.
4I think Arkham City is a fantastic game. There I said it right from the start. If you're reading this then I can only assume that you might want to buy it yourself? I think that you would need to play Arkham Asylum first. In retrospect the Asylum gives you a good grounding in the whole Batman universe. I have to admit that although I had seen the films & watched the TV programme I really didn't know very much about Batman And his army of enemies. Playing Arkham city without the Asylum to give me this background info would have been nearly impossible. The setting is HUGE absolutely huge. The whole map swarming with (basic) bad-guys They're easy to defeat but, man, do they take up your time. Crossing the map in itself would take a few minutes, add in multiple distractions and it's easy to get lost and frustrated. Numerous side missions cloud your judgement as you start to understand why Batman doesn't get much free time. As I write this I'm 28% into the game and stuck. I'm still enjoying the experience but without the memories of my time in the asylum I would be certifiably mad by now. You'll love the adventure (if you choose to accept it) but go prepared. Holy Mackrel Batman!
5When I first plugged this in, I thought it felt 'light' compared to the first game. But the more I played it the more beautiful and amazing this game became. I must recommend to anyone. Bman universe fan or not. The 3D option looks like a great addition too, Shame the 3D glasses are so expensive though.

Arkham Improved
5All that was expected, and more. Arkham City is, at its worst, as fun as its predecessor, and free-roaming is a welcome addition, though sometimes there's so much to do it can be a bit overwhelming. But, since most of the extra missions can be avoided sticking to the main story it never becomes too much to handle. Combat is as flawless as ever, and the new gadgets and combos are a blast to use.

Awesome
5Batman: Arkham City continues as epic as the first one finished. Graphics are awesome and sound play also. I have really enjoyed playing the game and I'm recommending it to everyone who likes smashing bad guys, solving puzzles and enjoys intense story. More good things in this game is that there is lot to do beside the main story. All in all, this game is great and really one of the best games published this year!

5When it was first announced the game was to be released, I was left speechless. The game definitely didn't disappoint when I received it! Soaring over the city simply made the game unique and special. The large list of characters is great; leading to a very deep plot that unwinds just as you'd hope for. Not only is the main story brilliant, but you also have the choice to complete side missions which add to the length of the game. Overall, I thought the game was absolutely brilliant; and to be honest, one of the best games I've ever played. The only negative really is that once you've completed it, you want even more Batman!
