Awesome game!

This game kept me up four hours of fun. A strong storyline which has many turns on the one hand and some very nice side-quests aswell. Fable 3 offers many functions and the levelling system is pretty cool. I fully recommend this game!

Fable 3 continue the story years after Fable 2, you play as the son or daughter of your previous character. I found that this game retains much from the previous title and adds new options, so if you liked Fable 2 you would probably love Fable 3! The graphics are about the same with couple of new effects, the design if equally great! every character has it's own speech and lines, you can feel that Lionhead Studios have put a lot of work into it. You can now gain allies and through a revolution - become a king! there are so many quests and things to do in the game, tens of hours of gameplay! Very recommended!

Chapter three

I was very addicted to Fable 2 and after some online reviews I didn't expect much from this one. But I have to say it is still Fable and therefore it's just very funny. If you have some geek humor - go for it. If you can handle some minor issues with grafik and menus you will have a good time!

Fable 3 is a great game, especially if you liked Fable 1 or 2. You can go through the main storyline or just wander around and do side quests and get more and more friends and lovers. Also the freedom and quantity of choices you will make during the game is brilliant. Combat system works really good, combining a ranged weapon, a melee weapon and a spell, all which you get to choose from a wide range and can collect more during the game. My favourite thing is that you can buy shops and houses and build yourself a business empire to get more and more money. I recommend buying this game if you like roleplaying games. :)

Excellent game. A little oversimplified compared to Fable II, which is both a good and a bad thing. Less flicking through to find spells is a nice change, however the downside is that you can't have all your spells on you at once. Reducing the choice with regard to interaction with NPCs was also disappointing. However, the story is fresh and exciting, with some terror thrown in there as well.

This is a great game for any new comers to the Fable series, as it is very simple in its design and recquires no knowledge of the stories of the past games. This game is an action RPG simplified to its core allowing the player to focus on his character's developement and the story progression without having to worry about managing inventories, resources and generally not having too many choices to make. However, in my opinon, this is where the Fable 3 fails to satisfy more experienced gamers and Fable fans, because this simplification gives you the feeling that you lack control over some important aspects. For instance you cannot check how many health potions you have left until you are engaged in combat, which is quite annoying especially when considering something so vital to your character's survival. As i've said before this is really a good game for beginners (and new comers to this genre i.e. RPG) as the combat is very simple to master, and for players of the previous games the commands are almost unchanged. Nonetheless what is likely to frustrate the gamer is that the combat, once mastered, seriously lacks of challenge and variety. The weapon arsenal is reduced to choose between swords and hammers for melee; handguns and rifles for ranged combat. Concerning spells there is an addition: the ice storm, yet some seem to be missing and two important ones were turned into "one-use-only" potions. However the players will be able to unlock a second spell gauntlet allowing them to "weave" 2 spells at a time which is not only effective but also can be beautiful to watch. Another point about the combat is that sometimes the xbox 360 will have frame rate issues causing the game to seem as in slow motion and not as responsive. The last issue i will address is the customization of weapons, or rather the lack of it. Instead of being able to purchase "augment stones" to attach to a weapon for the desired effects (such as flames, more experience or more damage to list a few) the weapons now have upgrades that are preselected and that the player can unlock by completing certain tasks (such as finishing a certan amount of quests, or killing a certain number of a particular ennemy type). But then again it goes back to the simplification of the game and it can be debated whether it is an improvement or not depending on how much freedom you like (in other words if you are new or more experienced). All in all Fable 3 is great game for gamers who have missed out on the other Fable games it is a wonderful universe where the environemnts are believable, the voice acting and sound track really sells it, the story gripping (even if the pace can be slow at some times), the humour suitable for young and more mature audiences and the cartoony graphics always a pleasure to look upon. Although the interactions with the other inhabitants of "Albion" can feel superficial after a while and the plot a little manichean in the choices the players are faced with, i defintely recommend this game to anyone interested in discovering the world of Fable. But to experienced gamers seeking a challenge or old time Fable fans seeking a rejuvenating thrill brace yourelves for a little disapointment. Please excuse any spelling errors or incorrect phrasing as i am not a native english speaker, i thank you for reading this review and i hope it will help you in your decision.

Great Game, Low Price

Fable 3 is a great game, it has a good story, great gameplay, good graphics and it's like a never ending story. There are lots of secrets to find, and lot ways of doing that. Every choice is unique and you'll never play the game the same way. For those who like action rpgs with a lot to explore, this game is a must have.
