The true legend among gaming

5

What to say that isn't already said? Nothing... This is already proven to be one of the best games on the 7th generation consoles and also PCs. Graphics, soundtrack and especially gameplay are all top notch and few games can even be compared to that. It does have some small flaws, mostly with many bugs, but they can be avoidable especially with many patches that have been released lately. Overall, one of the best games of its time!

Skyrim

World of Skyrim is hostile, brutal and realistic and it doesn't feel artificial as its predessidor Oblivion did. You feel that you actually are there. Music is excellently made and is essential part of creating atmosphere. Sometimes it is so subtle that you don't even know that it's there, unless you listen, sometimes it so bombastic, that it chills your bones. World is large and there is so much to do, that is easy to get distracted. Developers promise hundreds of hours of content and with many other rpg games, that would mean repetitive and boring gameplay, but with Skyrim, it is variety and immersion that makes you want to go back...and stay.

Excellent but dying

This game is perfect, you can hardly find any flaws at all. A game this good diserves to be spoken of for millions of years to come. The experience is always new. I experimented a bit, I saved the game before starting my journey. When I walked down the road to Whiterun, I met a guard patrol, bringing a criminal to justice. I immediately died when trying to rescue him, and started over from the beginning. Then I met a bunch of Imperial anti-religious soldiers, which lead to a very fun conversation.. Then of course, death. I started over, and the next time I met a dragon. It's like, the experience is never the same. It's actually fun to walk to your destinations in the game, instead of fast travelling. Something no game before this one has really made possible. The quests never end, and every storylined quest raises an eyebrow. Even the small sidequests. The only problem I have, is that this game still makes us of the typical, go get 200 flowers, go make 100 potions and level up your alchemy skill. See, it's very realistic. But why should I be picking up a bunch of flowers inside a game, to level up a skill that I won't show anyone at all? Offline RPGs in my opinion shouldn't have that. But of course, if you readers don't have a problem with this, then you should definately buy the game. It's more of a personal opinion, when I give it 4 stars. The game took 5 years to make, or so we're told. It's actually quite clear too. The game is amazing. If Bethesda manages to set a standard on this, then we can look forward to many great games in the comming years. Also, there are rumours of additional Downloadable Content such as enterring Morrowind, Cyradil, maybe even hammerfell. One can hope though. If you ever liked an RPG, or an experience like no other, or if you like out of body experiences, then this game is a definate must-buy.

Bravo

This has to be the best RPG game of 2011, the story is well thought out with a simple yet elegant combat system helps to propel the player on a grand adventure the likes of which have never been seen on any previous Elder Scrolls game. But to be honest I find that it's the little things that give this game another dimension, for example as you fight dragons through out your quest, the sound of battle is broken by the brilliant deep vocal track that just chants the word "dovahkiin" ,dragon born. It almost seems like this story could have been an epic poem, compared to that of beowulf. So to wrap this up all I can say is that this game is a must own for any gamer and with unlimited quests created by the game you will spend many a happy hours on Skyrim and it will be worth every second.

Seriously, I wasn't a big fan of the Elder Scrolls series before this game came out. But, this has really changed my mind about the series. Skyrim is a First -Person RPG, where you take on role of the Dovahkiin (The Dragonborn). This game took me about 2 weeks to complete, and thats only because of the hefty amount of sidequests that you can complete. It is a wonderful, wonderful game and is recommended for everyone, whether you be an avid COD player or a casual video gamer. The story is very complex, and you can really see how much attention has been put into the enviroment and its sorrounding. There's even one dungeon that really amazed me, and I even spent hours in it trying to find out if there's anything interesting in there. Overall, It is a great game, definitely one of my new favourites. And besides, who doesn't want to say they've been slaying dragons in their spare time?
