5* game
5Been a big fan of metal gear sonce i was a kid and my god does this tick every box big well done to konami and the rest of the crew for a 5* master piece.. they did say this woulf be there last game they make but i do hope the remaster the old classics from the PS1 years.. great delievery time came 3 days before release date..

A Hideo Kojima game
5After a week of play, totalling to 50 hours, I haven't even reached half way through the main story....never mind all the side ops. I've been a fan of mgs since ps1, this is the first full game that has tried something completely different and it works so well. Hats off to you Kojima

Excellent price
5I give 5 stars for excellent price as in cheap price & day-one DLC, I highly advise to buy MGS-5PP if you follow the other MGS stories. All good things come to the end as snake AKA big boss last outing.

5Hideo Kojima comes through with another epic installation in the Metal Gear Solid series. One of the best games of the current generation of consoles.

5Really fun game and zavvi has it at a great price, you can play stealthy and infiltrate a base or go in guns blazing unlike other metal gear solid games its open world and more mission based, yet to try online mode and mgo isn't out until october but the single player is brilliant and will keep you busy for hours.

Tries to do Too Much
3Disclaimer: I am not a long term MGS fanboy. I really enjoyed Ground Zeros hence why I got TPP too. Although I did look into a lot of the Lore ahead of playing the game. Despite excellent gameplay and design The Phantom Pain will never be a 10/10 title for me. What let it down for me was how too many elements are brought into the narrative which are never resolved or properly set up the previous titles: I know that complex narratives are Kojimas signature but this game fails to leave me anything but disappointed after reaching a certain point in the plot. [Spoilers Follow] ... After "The Man Who Sold the World" the entire narrative and all events in TPP are rounded off in a "It was all a dream" style. A fatal error in storytelling regardless of wether it is a game or not. Video Games will not be taken seriously as a storytelling art form of this game is considered a 10/10 title. The game also tries to incorporate too many gaming Clichés to satisfy different gamers, infected/zombies, open worlds, skill tree style weapons development and meta 1v1 game invasion. None of these are done well, but sitting in such a well made game with fantastic motion capture and gameplay these aspects are made less noticeable. Not a 10/10 title, I'm glad it's over as an IP. The epic intense story ground zeros set up was not lived up to. I'm prepared for all the Kojima fanboys and girls to disagree with me.

Metal Gear goes open world!
5Kojima's final Metal Gear Solid game is a masterpiece! Play how you want to play as you infiltrate enemy bases in huge open environments all while earning currency and resources to build up your own Mother Base. The depth and diversity on offer in this game is astounding. A must have for any fans of the genre!

Great price from Zavvi for a great game
5This game is set to be one of the best in the series in my opinion. The missions and side-ops are very immersive. But the best feature of the game is the mother base. All the improvements you can make to it make this game extremely addictive. The only downside is the online play. The server seems unreliable.
