5The detail, right down to the faces of these characters, from the Alien series are top class. I cannot find fault with these figures and, believe me, I'm quite fussy about what I'm buying. You won't be disappointed.

A little bit of 'Alien' on my shelf
5Figure is made of something hard and quite heavy, and comes well protected in a large box appropriately decorated in black & green 'Alien'-ish graphics. A little booklet is included. To get the negatives out of the way: It doesn't look much like Tom Skerritt to me, the 'Roger Christian' pistol sits a bit flat on his hip (and has a solid trigger/guard), and the flashlight beam is depicted just as a circle of white paint. However, these criticisms are minor, especially for the price I paid on Zavvi and I think 5 stars are deserved - the paint job looks good to me, the details seem accurate and the reproduction of the helmet & transparency is excellent. The 'Alien' spacesuits are iconic and this miniature makes you realise the logic of the pads and knobby armour used on the original costumes. If you're a fan of the 'Earth' designs in 'Alien,' I recommend this.
