Dualshock 4
5there is no reason not to love the Dualshock 4. It is bigger, more ergonomic and has new features not seen on the Dualshock 3. The triggers and thumb sticks are concave, unlike the Dualshock 3 and everything from the D-pad to the actions buttons are within reach and does not put discomfort on the player. The Dualshock 4 new features include a touchpad, a sharing button, a light bar, and a speaker. The touchpad can be used in games like ACIV: Black flag to navigate through the map, if one would like to share a video or a picture, it can be easily done by simply pressing the share button and choose which social media site to share it on. broadcast is also available via the sharing button through Ustream and Twitch. The light bar and speaker are features that are sparsely used at launch, unless you play resogun the speaker is seldom used. The light bar is mostly used if a Playstation Eye is purchased, as it helps in identifying the player and do other tasks related to the Playstation Eye, otherwise it seems superfluous and has a very limited use. In terms of battery life the Dualshock 4 can last for nine hours, this is a lot less than the Dualshock 3's thirty hours, however, unlike the PS3, the Dualshock 4 can be recharged while the PS4 is in standby mode.
