Good all around remake
5I consider myself a fairly experienced Gears player, since I have played every game of the series in both single and multiplayer guises. Never the less this remake does justice to the game and gives a good introductory for the sequel to come inside 2016.

5love this game, it really enfolds you in the plot of the fight against the locust hoards, I have played it so many times I am supprised it still works. great game.

5Love the game so addicted to it. Love the extra bits of campaign and Maps look fab too. Only gripe was even tho I ordered it when it was a pre order still, it arrived the Tuesday after its Friday release

A good remaster
5If you've never played the first Gears of War game then this is a must! The game itself holds up well and with the improved graphics it looks great. Having played the game myself I found it brought back a lot of memories of the first one and with the updated multiplayer options its a great game. Plus if you buy this game and play it before the end of the year you'll get the first 4 Gears of war games on Xbox 360 through the backwards compatibility program.

Awesome!!
5I was a huge fan of the original Gears of War for the Xbox 360, imo the best in the series. So when I heard about GoW Ultimate I had to buy it! The best game in the franchise remade from the ground up, next gen graphics, dedicated servers, a ton of maps and characters, what more can you ask for? Awesome!!

This my kind of Sh!t
5I absolutely love the Gears games, they are so over the top that they can't be taken seriously. With that in mind I find myself getting totally immersed in the world and lore. Having played through all of the games on XBox 360 I have gone back and played through them all with friends several times. Gears 3 was a favourite for coming back to and after playing through it so much, going back to Gears 1 made the controls feel very clunky. This Ultimate edition solved that problem for me, with the added content for multiplayer and added Story content I feel that it is back to how I remember playing it originally. Big, brutal and lots of fun! Although I already own all the originals on XBox 360 the deal of now having these available for digital download is also fantastic. This is obviously a limited time off but the time available is very reasonable.
